QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Jun 22 2007, 10:09 PM) We were in the 2006 CL final and won the FA-Cup the year before that. How can you wonder why I'm dissapointed? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I never said you weren't disappointed, I'm just saying not to expect too much. The greatest of teams don't win everything all the time. Look at United and Madrid recently, when you look domestically, look at Milan. You can't have everything, obviously you're going to be disappointed, everybody gets disappointed when they don't win something.

QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Jun 22 2007, 10:19 PM) Well...you are right, off course. I'm gonna get some sleep now, thanks for not hammering me for this...transfer too much, this have been one hell of an evening... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It must be hard to swallow. If it's any consolation he's one of the best players EVER to play in the EPL, and I'd rather him be at Arsenal than Barcelona. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Well, I am not a HUGE fan of Arsenal, as u r .. But I have been to Hibury and I have watched Henry play ... So it is fair to say that I was really impressed with Henry. He gave the best years of his career to Arsenal (as Sheva did to us..) and now he is cashing in (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He is in his decline and, as everyone is confirming, Wenger will replace him (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) But don't expect to go the distance, cuz it is when u expect the least that u get the surprise of winning the CL (as we did (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) .. p.s. Arsenal reached the CL final with this very team that Arsenal has, except without Rosicky and Hleb, but still the same team. Therefor, I don't think loosing Henry (at 31) is a HUGE loss (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell are missing from defense. Robert Pires from midfield. Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp from up front. Without question 5 of their top players over recent years. Oh, and Reyes.

I'm no great fan of Arsenal, Locke, but they /do/ play the most attractive football in England. I ENJOY watching them play even if I'm not necessarily cheering for them. And R7 makes a good point -- it may not be the end of the world, Henry moving to Barca. Milan didn't do too badly losing their star striker, after all. Without question 5 of their top players over recent years. Oh, and Reyes. Well, when u think about it ... Ashley barely played a part in that CL (he was injured for the best part of the season (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) ... Cambell, well against West Ham that year, he really screwed up in defense and (though he scored for them) he wasn't at his tip top shape. Pires and Bergkamp (if u know me, u would know I agree about those two (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) experience is what propelled them YES .. But, as a whole, it was this very team with this manager that reach the CL final .. And don't forget, the team struggled after loosing Viera (as Milan did loosing Sheva..) .. So u have to give credit to the team (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And Henry, well, he is one of the top 5 strikers there is around (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
