QUOTE (dudernahata @ Oct 23 2005, 10:07 PM)
it will most likely go to nesta, i would like to see it go to sheva. he has been with milan since 1999 and will be for years to come. he has a contract until 2010 and who says he wont renew it.nesta might be the best choice for captain but isnt he getting ready to hang up the boots? we dont want a captain for only 2-3 years
*

That is true, a younger captain would be better but who?

Sheva would not be a bad choice, it would be really good if he got the armband

Rino seems to be picking up his passion and some skills. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) although some people claimed that he wasn't aiming at the goal when he scored. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

well, back to topic. I say that P. Maldini still hasn't shown any sign of leaving us. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Why not just hang in for a few more years, say, 10. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , and then C. Maldini takes over. one thing I like about Gattuso is ... he's persistent and aggressive ... well I won't be dissapointed if he becomes the captain ...
*

he was one of the reasons why we lost to liverpool last year
his tackle nearly earned him a red card
i think it should be seedorf
seedorf has won the Champions league 4(i don't know it exactly) times with different teams:Ajax,Milan, Real madrid

Seedorf? He's doing better this season but last season, how bad was he?

Serginho was a lot better and I never understood why he wasn't picked for the CL Final from the start (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Look at Gattuso steaming ahead! I have said it should be him from the begining and I am sticking too it! What a goal for him the other night, 1st one in the San Siro for 7 years! The man is a legend and can always be counted on for pulling something out the hat when you least expect it.
And as for him losing the game against Liverpool for us, thats rubbish! The whole team lost it for us, we just didnt seem to want it in the 2nd half and then when Shev missed the last penalty. im sorry but as a whole the team lost it, they all played their part you cant blame one palyer!! Serginho is always more effective when he starts from the bench. I guess that's because his pace is more lethal when the opponents are tired. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Gattuso was responsible for that one, I agree, but that coward Gerrard probably just faked it anyway. A red card and a penalty for a dive? imagine that.

seedorf doesn't have the quality of being a captain. at least i don't see it in him. imagine a lazy guy walking on the pitch with armband while all the other guys are sweating like pigs. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) when they look around trying to find their captain, "where is our captain?" "right here, dude, I am having an ice cream." (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) No offense, hehe. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Seedorf has won three times, one with each team. 95, 98, 03.

Gattuso is not my first choice to be captain, heck, he is not even top three in my dictionary, but Seedorf may be the last person I would want to see with captain armband. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Last year Serginho was far better than Seedorf when he started not just coming on off the bench.

Gattuso is way to agressive to be captain.
