Wow, this thread is pindrop-silent. Anyway, 10e, would you mind taking a crack at this? (Mediagol)

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Sep 20 2008, 10:10 AM) Wow, this thread is pindrop-silent. And you're the first one to reply in it! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Abbiati has done very well so far but with our defensive functions in such a bad state it does not really matter who sits between the posts... QUOTE (MizNelson @ Sep 20 2008, 12:10 PM) Anyway, 10e, would you mind taking a crack at this? My guess is that she would, seeing as she's away for the time being. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) We need more Italian speakers here. QUOTE (dst @ Sep 20 2008, 03:55 PM) Abbiati has done very well so far but with our defensive functions in such a bad state it does not really matter who sits between the posts... You want our keepers to sit between the posts? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Oh, dear! QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 20 2008, 04:32 PM) Just curious, how many clean sheets have we kept this season, in how many games, including friendlies/Europe. We must have a terrible record. None. Savvy? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And these include friendlies, and official matches. Take a look below, Lazio has two to our zero. (IMG: http://i36.tinypic.com/345ju5k.jpg)

QUOTE (acid911 @ Sep 20 2008, 09:01 AM) Did we now? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) Seems like ages ago, personally. I'd have loved a 3-0 start to our Serie A season like last year. Not if it mean't finishing this season in the same fashion! But yes it surely would have made for a much better start! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) In terms of clean sheets, I think besides the Cremonese (anyone who remembers that has a good memory) and wasn't there an 0-0 against either Juve or Inert in one of the Trofeo tourneys?

QUOTE I Am A Fascist - Abbiati
The shot stopper has been used sparingly by coach Carlo Ancelotti and he has been comfortable with his new role at the club.
Abbiati has decided to share his views on life away from the pitch and his revelations are likely to cause a stir in the football world.
"I am not ashamed of showing my political beliefs," Abbiati told Sportweek.
"I agree with some aspects of fascism like Patriotism and the values of the Catholic religion.
"Of Fascism I disagree with racial laws, allegiance to Hitler and the war but I like the capacity Fascism had to secure law and order, It guaranteed security for the people."
Although he has clearly stated his beliefs and disbeliefs regarding his political stance, Abbiati is unlikely to win any admirers in the world of football. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
