Hopefully.
I see Mandzukic is also unavailable. Considering how rusty he looked it may not be such a loss, even though he is usually at his best against big opponents.
Bennacer shouldn't have played against Red Star in the first place. That's what makes me mad. Now we have Tonali, who I hope will put in a double effort and prove he's a true Rossoneri.
But what do you guys say on Romagnoli? Part of the fans expect Pioli to drop him for Tomori; that won't happen but the wave of criticism is still partly justifiable.

Romagnoli is the captain and a good defender, I would never drop him.

Alexis inexistent. Hakan terrible. Tonali not involved enough. Calabria slow and clumsy. Rebić completely blocked.
Last few games Inter managed to turn things in the second half. We've nothing left to do but hope this time Milan will do something right.
But I think it's safe to say the Pioli effect wore off and we're spiraling down like all of his teams.

We've improved a lot over the last 20 minutes. This is how we should have started. First 30 minutes or so we were still mentally in the locker rooms
We need to improve the final ball
Inter play in one very specific way which is effective. We need to be smarter when Lukaku and Lautaro drift wide and not get sucked in, while the wingers must help a lot more in covering spaces. At certain points we were looking outnumbered 2 to 1 in all areas of the pitch

But I think it's safe to say the Pioli effect wore off and we're spiraling down like all of his teams. Pioli has been with this team for a while now, and we've weathered a lot this season. A dip was always going to happen, especially with all that we had to deal with. We just need to right the ship again because we have been going askew since the restart from the winter break. I's not just down to Pioli, the players need to pick up their performances

Agreed.
And yes, it's not down to Pioli. But in the end he's the one who will be responsible.
I always knew that not signing a RW will hurt us a lot. Bringing in a relegation side player like Meite, just like Krunić before that, was also a very poor move.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Feb 21 2021, 06:00 PM) I was not expecting such a lenient approach. We showcased a very evident inferiority complex. Instead of spitting blood and breathing fire from the first second, we just stood there like a bunch of cowards and let them do their bidding. To come out only in the 30th minute is just ridiculous, and not worthy of a team fighting for the scudetto.
Inter deserve this, plain and simple. Agreed again. It seems to me our babies realized that winning the scudetto is a true possibility after winter and caved in. Now it's up to Pioli and Ibrahimović to wake/shake them up.
