Milan rubbish Trez swap Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has rubbished talk of a swap deal involving Alberto Gilardino and Juventus' David Trezeguet.
The rumours surfaced with Gilardino - a childhood Juve fan - struggling to find the net at the San Siro, and Trezeguet reportedly becoming disillusioned with life in Turin.
Juventus president Cobolli Gigli appeared to suggest that the clubs were prepared to enter into talks, but Galliani said he had no intention of going through with the deal.
"
I have never considered this thing. Neither I, nor [sporting director Ariedo] Braida or even [Silvio] Berlusconi have met with Juventus management do discuss any transfer of that nature," Galliani told Italian TV.
"I think the Juventus representatives must have been speaking to the wrong people..."
Milan failed to score yet again on Wednesday night as they lost 2-0 at home to Lille in the Champions League.
They have managed only 14 goals in 12 Serie A games and still lie in lower mid-table having started the season with an eight-point penalty.
Trezeguet would certainly add pure finishing ability to a struggling Rossneri forward line, and has a tremendous scoring record in Serie A, with 95 goals in 141 appearances.
