AC Milan - Milanfan.com _ Polls _ Serie A - Week 2 - Parma FC vs AC Milan

So, very exciting yet messy match.

I see you guys blaming Bonera much. But if you guys ask me, De Sciglio was abysmal. He didn't manage to cover two attacks from Parma in a row, lost the ball constantly, made numerous other errors. The first goal is mostly on him. He was a real mess out there, and that even without Biabianyi being present as a danger.

Yes, Bonera comes second but Alex (IMO) didn't do any better. And Diego Lopez...man that last goal was nothing but embarrassing. Really poor poor defending.

But X-O said it right. We need to change our midfield structure. Problem is, we don't have so many players available. Who knows how good or usable MvGinkel really is? And last time I checked, Poli wasn't a classic DM. I expect much much more out of him, or he'll rapidly turn into a Nocerino. Much fuss, no real gain.

MoM? For me it's simple. Abate and Honda were very good to excellent, but that Menez goal is just magic. Didn't see such a thing since Ibra. Glad we signed him.

Fillipo, you haven't included Bonera in the Flop list. tongue.gif

Otherwise, it's an easy pick:

Menez
Bonera
Stay

Yep. But there's no stay/leave option there, Jack. biggrin.gif

Fixed.

And you seriously think Bonera was worse the MDS? Almost every dangerous situation came through the left.

Yes, De Sciglio was pretty bad today. But, I'll blame the supposedly experienced player who got us down to 10 men..thank you.

With regard to Diego Lopez, you have to factor that he got injured while going for the ball. The pass back to him wasn't ideal at all as well. So, no not so embarassing IMO, specially in a game which was pretty tedious.

Absolutely. De Sciglio was poor, yes. He was partially responsible for the first goal and that last one, which was more of a fluke than a proper mistake. But Bonera was quite abysmal in comparison. No contest there.

I voted Abate as MoM, simply because I thought he did everything so well today. I didn't give it to him on week 1 because of the cheap penalty give away, but I thought he really deserved it today, also for taking on the captain's armband and doing a great job at being a vocal leader on the pitch.

Menez obviously the other huge call. Just amazing stuff. Great work rate and great technique to go along with that.

Bonera the very obvious flop of the night.

And yes Fillipo, DS was also bad today, but certainly not half as bad as Bonera was.

I don't know. William made the fair point by saying the more experienced player should take the bigger cut in the blaming game. Other then that (which I agree upon), they were both pretty bad.
