Neither has Casillas but he'll be in goal for Spain.

Casillas has been starting all the cup games and even some league games recently though, and he's been good every time I saw him.

It's a bit different with CBs though imo. Especially when they're still that young

One of the reporters here is saying that the Germany-Ghana and Mexico-Cameroon games are a health risk because of the time of day they're kicking off, apparently both temperature and humidity are bad enough just to be out in, forget playing football.

If people survived South Africa, they'll survive Brazil too. It'd be a good idea to have games in the evening, though.

PS: I hope we don't encounter the vuvuzelas again in this WC, otherwise I'm not watching.

They ruined the World Cup. I really will struggle to enjoy watching games if they're back, though I doubt they will be en masse.

I think this world cup will most likely give South Africa a run for it's money in the flop department.

But if we could survive the vuvuzelas we can survive anything, the single most annoying sound I've ever heard in my life

Klinsmann leaves Landon Donovan out of the US team, despite his incredible World Cup record. In his place, he's taken a player who's played less games in his career than Donovan has scored goals at the World Cup. I know he's an awful coach, but Jesus. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

lol...it's an absurd decision, but with or without Donovan, even if he was in his prime at top form, there's no chance for us to make it through that group.

(unless Germany and Ghana both sustain team-wide heat-stroke from that matchup and can't recover in time for their next matches...)

I think you got a chance. Ghana aren't anything special. They have Muntari FFS! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Germany and Portugal will still most likely make it through anyway

Ghana knocked them out of the last World Cup. US will do well to get a draw against them IMO.

Haha. Yeah the guy is class.

Have Nigeria-Scotland on BBCiPlayer, what a finish from Mulgrew! Ibra would be proud.
