QUOTE (dst @ May 22 2008, 11:59 AM)
It is Zlatan's scudetto as much as it is Cesar's in my opinion.

You know well what I meant.

Same for Kaka' who basically single-handedly won last year's Champions League. Yes, he got the medal.

Ricardo Oliveira got it too. Same for Brocchi. But their contribute was nothing compared to Kaka'.

Moratti Tells Juve: We Are Proud Of 2006 Scudetto
Inter President Massimo Moratti has refused calls to hand back to Juventus the 2006 Scudetto, and says that that championship is a source of great pride for all Interisti.

The bitter rivalry that is today present between Inter and Juventus is strongly linked of course to the Calciopoli crisis in 2006.

The scandal resulted in the Bianconeri having their Scudetti from 2005 and 2006 revoked, with Inter being issued the latter of these titles.

Conspiracy theories aside, Juventus fans and staff have always maintained that they won the 2006 Scudetto because they were the best side.

Yesterday Italian newspaper Tuttosport asked Inter chief Moratti if, in view of this, he would be willing to hand back to Juventus the 2006 title.

“Why don’t you return them? It would be a nice gesture," said the Turin-based paper.

Moratti was unimpressed by this demand, and his response was very clear.

"I have never taken into consideration this hypothesis,” declared the oil tycoon.

“Indeed I consider this Scudetto as a source of the greatest pride for Inter.”

Moratti then aimed a sarcastic cheap shot at Juventus, saying, in clear reference to the recent Scudetto victory, that he had better things to do with his time.

"Congratulations to Juventus for its purchases, but we in this period have other things to do,” he concluded.

This will be an important experience in terms of my professional growth and my career. I'll have the chance to play and train with many great players and I can't wait to begin doing so».

His signing is part of a project Juventus have to invest in young players. We're happy that Ekdal has chosen to join our team: he will certainly be an important player who will do his part in helping to build Juventus' future».

Don't know a thing about him either, Kurt.

Here are the call ups for the Coppa final:

merda:
Portieri: Julio Cesar, Orlandoni, Toldo
Difensori: Burdisso, Chivu, Fatic, Filippini, Maicon, Maxwell, Zanetti
Centrocampisti: Cesar, Jimenez, Maniche, Pelè, Stankovic, Solari, Vieira
Attaccanti: Balotelli, Crespo, Suazo
NO Zlatan.

Roma:
Portieri: Curci, Doni, J. Sergio
Difensori: Antunes, Cassetti, Cicinho, Juan, Mexes, Panucci, Tonetto
Centrocampisti: Aquilani, Brighi, De Rossi, Perrotta, Pizarro
Attaccanti: Esposito, Giuly, Mancini, Vucinic

I hope none of the Italians get hurt. Don't need that before the Euros.

Isn't Ekdal that kid that was labelled as the new Ibrahimovic? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

In 2 hours we'll have the Final of Coppa Italia. Now it's just 1 match instead of 2 legs like last year.

So, the question is: why is the final in Olimpico, Roma?

"The two-leg formula for the final was dropped in favour of a single match and the Stadio Olimpico was chosen earlier in the season - long before Roma reached this stage."

Nicely taken goal by Roma's Mexes - a volley from a corner kick.

Roma 1 - 0 merda.
