Milan derby tonight - it's the first in a while we have a chance of losing by a reasonably respectable scoreline.

Best performance I've seen from us in a good long while

So quick and vertical (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Hopefully we can see this through

Yes, really nice football. Direct and confident like you said.

I just re-subscribed to Bein sports to continue the match because streams are bad XD

As usual, we simply can't

What a total meltdown. This is why you pay up for a coach like Conte

Damn, this is the derby..you can't control it.

Anyway, I still we played a good game. Of-course still lots of things to improve on, but you can understand our base.

The problem is..Ibra..we will never find someone like him.

I think we played a good 45 minutes

We completely blacked out in the second half. As soon as Inter put pressure on us, we crumbled.

This game just simply shows how far behind we are.

And it shows what shitty team we have.

You know, in the first half I actually couldn't believe we were playing like we were. I hadn't seen that kind of quick incisive play in years.

But at the back of my mind, I just knew that we'd fumble it at some point, and sure enough we did

Can you imagine that Inter dressing room at HT. I can assure you that none of those Inter players wanted to go in and face Conte and none of them wanted to go back in at the end with a loss.

Our players don't have that fear. They just go out there, muck about for a bit and go back in. Ibra can only do so much, but when the entirety of your squad is poisoned with a weak mentality it takes much more than just one player

We need to make some major changes to the playing personnel, but first and foremost, we need to bring in a proper coach who knows how to win. And until that changes we can keep chopping and changing this squad repeatedly, but nothing will change

There are only a handful of players I'd keep going forward as well. Very few have shown that they have what it takes and it's time for them to play at clubs where such mental weakness is acceptable

What absolute nonsense. We crumbled?

No we didn't.

We lost to a stunning volley (which we scored ourselves two matches ago), an incredible timed run from Sanchez (played on by a slightly naive Conti) and one of the best headers I've ever seen. It floored us, and had NOTHING to do with Conte.

This is the difference between a good team, which we seem to be starting to edge towards, and one which pays megamillions for their players.

With fans like you guys, who needs enemies.

PS even 3-2 down we kept fighting. Difference was they strangled Ibra and Hakan which was the one tactical shift we didn't deal with.

I'm really disappointed with the reaction in this thread.

That was the best 4-2 defeat I've seen in a long time.

PPS I've come to accept we're not the old Milan any more, we're just a team in progress and the way you guys act is as if we're still supposed to be a top 3 or 4 team and we're having a disgraceful season.

We simply aren't a top 3/4 team any more but you guys talk like you think we are.

Who said anything about being a top team? We repeat this over and over again but in all honesty no one of the few people left here thinks we're even close to being a top team.

Yet we played very well for the first 45 minutes and it was on us to lose this kind of advantage. Just read what Ibra said:

"We stopped playing, the team stopped believing, we stopped pressing, didn’t pass it around enough. From the equaliser onwards, everything collapsed"

It shows you how weak, fragile and unprepared our team is. Pioli also didn't react accordingly.
