I am aware for most of the things you said.
And maybe you got me wrong, I dont demand that we buy off a load of those hyped 19-year-old players that can either be Maradona or pack their bags back to from where they came. No... But i think Boban or Shevchenko are not exemptions. I`m pretty sure right this moment the Croatian league (also only for example, with all its flaws and unbearable moments) hides a potential Boban. Maybe not Croatia, but Brazil for sure... And I do have that feeling that we are not doing the scouting job we used to do. We were, beside of many things, also discoverers. We did discover a bunch of players that turned out great. I also consider myself as a pro-experience fan...but I do like it when I can see the interaction between the youth and the vets. We are so full of experience, that, I think we could survive one position to be filled with a younger talent. Talent, not star... |

Of course fresh players will come in .. It is necessary for continuity .. Scouting for Milan, I believe is still at the same optimal level it has been since Silvio took over .. I don't think there will ever be another Boban (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) As there never will be another Shevchenko (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Nor Maradona (whoever says Messi is insulting a legend). But I do agree that there are players with HUGE potential in the Croatian league (as there are in many other leagues..), it depends on how their respective teams cultivate their talent .. Then it depends on how well they will adapt .. and the whole process takes ages to decide if these young players are good enough to sit on the bench of the top clubs (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) For Arsenal, PSV, etc etc .. It is good that they are signing these young players, as they are giving them room to develop even on th European stage, but what people don't realize is that Milan isn't loosing out on those players (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) If Milan wants a player 100%, then consider that player wearing the Milan jersey next season, as simple as that (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) And it doesn't matter how BIG the player has become, cuz when u look at the Milan line up ..
