Palermo did got out to a team I've never even heard of. No disrespect to that other team, but if you can't beat them over 2 legs, you really can't be that good.

ya obviously they should have easily gone thru but we all know palermo have a good team and proven players. they probably arent as strong as everyone thinks but they did beat spurs last year dint they?

No, Spurs went unbeaten until they lost to Sevilla.

I think they beat West Ham though, but that's like comparing Spurs to Livorno. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Zaragoza were eliminated by Ares and Blackburn by Larissa... I know very well the level of Greek football and if I took these results seriously I'd say both of them should be demoted to Spain's and England's second division respectively!! Isn't Larissa the semi-pro club, dst? I remember you being surprised that one of the Greek clubs was even in the competition.

Well they play in the first league but... their level... they can't get a couple of passes right! I could go there right now and play for them...

The Uefa Cup starts up tomorrow with a whole bunch of games. The big matchup is Villareal-Fiorentina. Villareal looks to be fielding a full-strength lineup; Fiorentina didn't call up Montolivo but he's the only major absence.

Bayern are missing a whole bunch of people for their game. Toni, Ribery, De Michelis, etc etc etc.

Spurs 1-2 Getafe. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Very poor defending.

Spurs have only ever lost 1 home game in Europe, shows just how bad this season's going for them.

Damn those Bayern...they always win in the end. Congrats to Bayerns Toni Kroos. He surely is the biggest U18 talent in the world IMO. Came on with Bayern beeing one goal down...then he assists Klose and scored with a direct free kick (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Bayern 0-1 Bolton - '20 (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If they lost, it'd be embarassing, doesn't matter how highly they rate the UEFA Cup. They're losing to a team that'll probably be relegated.

Bayern look like they have a strong line-up. Bolton don't seem to care, they have their third choice keeper playing, amongst other reserves (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

It's a standard lineup; the only difference I can see with Bayern is that Podolski is starting in place of Toni (who is on the sub's bench).
