Milan loan out Aubameyang Saturday 21 June, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan have loaned out young talent Willy Pierre Aubameyang to French side Dijon after sending Yoann Gourcuff across the Alps.

The Rossoneri are clearing out their squad of benchwarmers so they can gain more experience elsewhere.

Aubameyang was the star striker of the Milan youth side coached by Filippo Galli and often appeared on the list of substitutes for the senior squad.

In the last season he made just one official appearance for 46 minutes in the Coppa Italia, but great things are expected of the French 21-year-old.

He has been sent out on loan to the Ligue 2 outfit and there are no clauses in the contract, so he will return to base after 12 months even if he does cut the mustard in Dijon. Whats that mean guys ?

The decision comes just weeks after teammate Gourcuff was loaned out to French side Bordeaux.

Who exactly is Willy Pierre Aubameyang? We have a Willy A. and a Pierre A. and unless Milan Lab is somehow connected with Resident Evil's Umbrella, I doubt we have created a hybrid or whatever this thing is...

Just in case there's confusion, it's Pierre that's being loaned, not Willy. Pierre's the younger of the two and has indeed done well for the Primavera.

Agreed he turned out to be one of my best goal scorers in Fifa 08 after a couple seasons, yet so did Gila, so I guess that has no basis...
