Top - De Jong, closely followed by Alex. I don't have any more doubts about Alex. He is a rock. Too bad he's too old and will lose his edge in 2-3 years time.

Flop - MDS. His decline is getting very worrying.

Problem is, there is no decline at the first place. MDS rounded up our expectations after the awful options of Mesbah, Antonini, Taiwo, Emanuelson and Constant showed their true color. He had one great Madonnina derby, a few good games. Next season he started okay, but then got injured and never regained his form/continuity/consistency.

Last season he played badly, but people used to say it's because he's been played "out of position". Now he's "in position" and literary doing nothing better.

That being said, a fullback position is very demanding. MDS is young and still has a lot to learn. Look how Abate improved over the years. Same happened with many players; Pessotto, Jankulovski, etc come to mind. We should stick with him, give him faith and hope he'll regain his form and live up to the expectations. He's probably our only true product in recent years - and this alone gives him space.

Alex was great, but De Jong was even better. MOTM.

Flop - easiest one of the season. MDS.

Who voted Bona as flop?

I admit he was no great shake but the 15 minutes he was on the pitch hardly qualifies him

Moi, I thought he was really really awful when he should have been a game changer. But, you're right. 15 minutes is barely enough time to make any rating..In retrospect, I'd have voted for Menez.

Honestly, I didn't see MDS as worse as some are describing him. Yes, he offered us nothing going forward, but didn't have a disastrous performance..just average IMO.

Top: NdJ. Flop: Menez. If he becomes inconsistent, and Torres is still one season away from being useful, we're in barney.

I wouldn't keep Torres. He's not that good and already complaining about his time here.

Huh? Where'd you read that? This is what he said to Mediaset a couple of days ago, in a nutshell:

- Very happy, gradually adapting to a new league
- Wants to leave a mark with this club
- This is a new team, with a new coach, and they'll do what it takes to return in Europe
- The most important thing for him right now is Milan

Saw it in the paper yesterday, I forget which. Apparently he's upset with the playing time. Funniest bit was it said Berlusconi went in to the changing room at half time to demand Torres play more. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
