Great come-back

Much better 2nd half

We have some serious problem going into the next few games with all the injuries/Covid

I'm really worried about how we'll traverse the rest of the month.

If we don't win against Porto this week we should just play the kids in the rest of the CL games. I don't want us in the EL if we can't go through to the CL KOs

Holy crap, can't believe we won this! What a fantastic second half showing. Reminded me of that famous Lecce-Milan when we were losing 3-0 in the first half and won it 4-3 in the end.

HUGE APPLAUSE for Samu Castillejo. He was in tears in the end. This guy showed what professionalism is. Kessie needs to learn from him.

Krunic also had a great performance.

FORZA MILAN!

Btw, this was a carbon copy of our game against Verona last season. The team was also hit heavily by injuries and we went down 2-0 against them. Only difference is that this time we turned it all the way round, and we can only do that because we have much better squad depth this season because the injury situation is even worse than it was last year

Agreed.

At this point Pioli has no option but to play Kessie, but when Baka is back we need to bench him and sell him in January. No ifs or buts about it. We cannot keep letting these players leave for free. If he doesn't want to be a Milan player we need to move him on ASAP. I'm sure an EPL side would take him in January. Maybe we can offer him to Spurs and take Nombele off them in the deal

Samu was great tonight. I wish we could keep him, even just for the fact that he's great friends with Theo and Brahim and he seems like a great guy to have in the dressing room. Maybe we should consider renewing him for a smaller salary. He's dependable and can contribute.

Indeed. I also thought Kessie was going to miss his penalty like Ibra last season.

Btw, Don't know if any of you guys saw this but Lazio got a 30m(!!) deal with Binance for just 2 years. We need to ditch Emerites and and bring in a better shirt sponsor. Lazio getting paid better than us is BS, they don't even have a milli-fraction of the fanbase that we do

Thankfully Giroud and Zlatan are back. But what a curse!

We really missed Theo and Brahim tonight.

Against Porto we should avoid playing Ballo-Toure. He improved in the 2nd half but he's an accident waiting to happen.

Theo is a huge miss as he's not just a FB for us, he's practically the 5th attacker.

Krunic can do the job in Brahim's absence, obviously the quality on the ball is not comparable but he does the simple things right and can drop back to form a midfield 3 more effectively than Brahim.

Roma play Juve tomorrow, they're on 15 points. Hopefully that's a draw. Seeing us widening the gap between us and 5th place gives me great reassurance.

We need to win the next 2 against Bologna and Torino before facing Roma and Inter. It will give us a cushion going into those games, especially with all these injuries.

The Porto games are starting to look like a nuisance for me at this point. I know we fought hard to be in the CL but looking at our squad and seeing those 2 extra games in midweek it's really worrying me. Because the league has to take precedence over everything else. I really think we have a serious shot at it this season

I don't understand you. We fought so hard to get back in the CL and re-live these glorious night again, and you find them a nuisance? I don't care if we have small chances of passing through, when the CL comes knocking everything else becomes secondary. And we should try our best to win every remaining game. In a sense we're lucky that in this crisis of injuries we're facing Porto and not Atletico or Liverpool.

We should try to win these two Porto games by all means necessary. No if's or but's.
