Official announcement from acmilan.com:

"Ronaldinho’s adventure at Milan came to an end as number 80 parted ways with the Rossoneri with mutual respect. The Brazilian ace will continue wearing the red and black colours though, seeing that he has joined Flamengo.

MILAN - Two and a half years passed since the announcement of his arrival at Milan, at 21.15 CET on 15 July 2008, to the present day. During this span, he played 95 games, scoring 26 goals and giving 25 assists. His gems? The top corner goals against Braga and Portsmouth, his assists for Pato, his volley which seemed to put Milan on the right track against Manchester United in the Champions League knock-out stage, and many more.

Now, Ronaldinho is about to begin a new adventure, continuing to put on the red and black colours, but from now on it’ll be a shirt with horizontal stripes, that of Flamengo. "He’ll always be a brother to me”, Pato said of him Sunday afternoon, after the Milan-Udinese game. He’s leaving great memories of him at Milan. The negotiations about his departure went in a cordial way and the parties remained on excellent terms.

The whole Milan family bids Ronaldinho farewall with great affection as he demonstrated by the club’s official press release: A.C. Milan announces to have sold Ronaldinho to Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The club thanks the player for his excellent performances and wishes him success and satisfaction for the next chapter of his career."

To answer the question, it was sort of a strange lineup.

The lineup v. Chelsea (when we actually played decently) was something like this:
Kalac
Zambrotta Nesta Silva Janku
Gattuso Pirlo Seedorf
Ronaldinho
Pippo Pato

Seedorf and Pippo both have knocks.

(And Fishdoll is very jealous indeed that you live in the city where DEMEL is.)

that formation looks way better than the one against bayern...
I saw seedorfs goal. it was quite nice. and ronaldinhos assist was great too. but it seems we still didn't impress...
i was wondering why Pippo didn't play today, because he normally is great against bayern. I love his goals against them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

@fishdoll: i like demel. the cakes in their display window look great. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
have you been to vienna with your nice owner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I think we should go out and sell kaladze, oddo, storari, borriello, and jankulovski, pirlo, kalac.

Get that 30-50 million and go buy a decent cm, decent wingback and a good foreward and a good goalie. Then buy a few sub young defenders like di lorenzo.

At this rate I would rather have less with quailty than more with no quality.

I think that whole New-Milan-Thing is getting in your head....
Pirlo was great today. He was far better than some others you didn't put on your sell list. but I don't mind to sell kaladze, because he was kind of terrible as usual and I hope than Leonardo won't let him play often.

another question. it was my first game today which a squard of leonardo....was it a typical formation of him today...i mean which jankulovski as a midfielder and ronaldinho+pato up front...
it looked somehow strange.

Because it's no longer Kaka's (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Borriello wore #22 at Genoa. apparently it's his lucky number.

I know that it's no longer his, but somehow it's really....it needs time to get used to it.
I saw the number 22 and then I realized that it's not Kaka...somehow it feels really bad!
He was my favorite player and I don't like even thinking about his join to Real Madrid....
FORZA KAKA

about the match. I think Kaladze did many mistakes. Eypecially on the last 2 goals of bayern

It was Cannavaro that made the terrible mistake on the second goal. To actually see him reach Maldini's cap record was awful. He does not desrve to be a starter anymore.

The mistake Cannavaro was when we recieved the first goal. He was toonear to the goal and it wasn't offside... I didn't see a mistake of his on the second, but I might be mistaken.
Obviously, I don't see any reason for his good rating in this last matches(his goal not included)

I don't think that de rossi should be equalled with e.g. pirlo... he scored that really wonderful goal against the us, but he actually did nothing against egypt. he even didn't cover that egyptian(?)scorer. furthermore he did pass the ball very often to the opposite team.
and tonight he also didn't express anyhow. when the 2nd goal was scored by brasil he did do look awfully bad. he couldn't clear that one...
i'm not blaiming everything on him, don't get me wrong (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) , but he was the one how really made me crazy because of him awfull playing...

if i could sign a guy based on a single game, al-hadary would top my list in maybe the single best keeper performance i've ever seen:)!

but Ochoa is above him on my list (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) or arsenjio

I saw him yesterday too. I couldn't believe my eyes..he stopped nearly every shot. And he was very emotional...!! Great keeper, but I don't know if we would ever sign him..

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Jun 14 2009, 09:54 PM) *
Sheva never said things like this when he left:

Kaka: I will always love Milan

Kaka reiterated he will always hold Milan in his heart and it’s not easy to get accustomed to life as a Real Madrid player.

“I am very grateful to Milan. If today I am a world class player, then I owe it to the Rossoneri and the Selecao,” he said from Brazil’s Confederations Cup camp in South Africa.

He had turned down a £100m offer from Manchester City in January, but conceded he had to accept the £60m switch to Madrid because of Milan’s financial crisis.

“I am truly sorry about what happened with Milan, but now I must get used to the fact my future will be in the Merengues line-up and my professional rapport with the Rossoneri has ended.

“I hope Milan can do many great things with their new Coach Leonardo and I wish him all the best.

“I will always love the Rossoneri colours.”

Channel 4

IMO his return should be welcomed, although I can't see it happening anytime soon.

This really shows how great he is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

He really seems to down/sad, because of his move...and that the facts that bothers he the most.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I jst wanna ask

Would anyone mind/hated/whatever if Kaka returned next season/when we're not in an "economical crisis"?

He really showed that he cares about Milan, but I don't know if he would even want to return to Milan, but in case of Sheva most fans didn't want him to return to Milan...the case with Kaka is different, so how do you think?

For me, I wouldn't mind. I like him both as a player and a person and I would be happy if he returnd. But as I said it, I don't know if he is the type of player/person, who playes for a team, is sold by it's management and wants to return when he has the chance to.

QUOTE (A.X @ Jun 14 2009, 08:12 PM) *
Milan have announced the official signing of French wing-back Aly Cissokho from Porto. The Rossoneri will reportedly pay the Portuguese club €15million plus €1m for every trophy that the Rossoneri will lift during his time at the San Siro.

Milan beat off competition from French giants Lyon to secure Cissokho’s services after general manager Adriano Galliani traveled to Porto to complete negotiations last night.

“The overnight negotiation was intense,” Galliani admitted to the Diavoli’s official website.

“We think Cissokho is very strong, as proved by the interest in his services from important European clubs, even in the decisive hours that led to an agreement.

“But in the end, our long-standing footballing friendship with Porto directors prevailed, as we have also co-founded the G-14 in the past.

“The acquisition of Thiago Silva, who has yet to turn 25, and Cissokho, not yet 23, answer to a precise project: a young, fresh and competitive team and with the books balanced.

“That’s the path we will keep following over the next days and weeks.”

Wtf?? what kind of agreement is that?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) why do we spend 1m per trophy after we bouth a player? never heard of something like that before...

galliani really wants to show that he was the hero in the negotiations...shouldn't be too proud for 15m+

and it seems he wants to decrease the average age of our squard just by buying in some young talents no matter how expensive. and partly for that he sold kaka (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

You know it's true....
I can't believ it eighter that we sant all the money of Gourcuff's transfer to Bordeaux for someone like him .... I don't think he's worth that much, although Lyon wnted him (for 6m, which would have been adequate)

I really want to know what Kaka says about it all. and I hope he will be happy in real.
I think that he will leave because it is nearly everywhere and it is just a matter of time since it is made official.

It hurts me really much to lose Kaka, because he was the main reason for me to become a Milanfan. Today I like Milan a lot more over Kaka, but he has always been my favorite player, and he will ever be it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)
IMO Kaka should have been treated better in some ways. First of all noone should have forced him out!! and Berlusconi should say what his real reasons were to sell him. not come out at the end and say that kaka wanted it. If he really wanted it he wouldn't have said after the season was over, that he wants to stay at Milan and will not talk about any rumours...

Although it is not official yet that he is gone, I wish him all the best, and probably he will be back in Red&Black someday...

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Jun 7 2009, 11:27 PM) *
We don't have that big of a debt but look at how many players we signed last season:

Viudez
Cardaccio
Ronaldinho
Zambrotta
Abbiati
Antonini
Thiago Silva
Flamini
Beckham
Borriello
Shevchenko
Senderos

Ronaldinho and zambrotta cost us 30 million together. Abbiati 3 million. Thiago silva 6 million. Borriello 9 million. Antonini 2 million. Viudez/cardaccio 5 millino.

That right there alone is 55 million. Plus sheva earned a wage of 75k and didn't do anything. Beckham earned a huge wage, flamini earned a huge wage. Wages we usually pay when we are in champions league and with the revenue we recieve from it, we could afford to pay these wages but we were in uefa cup and it really hurt us so silvio paid out of his own pocket.

Our income was 1/3 of what it was when we were in champions league. We didn't sell any of our best players so in order for us to afford all this and keep our debt reasonable would be to sign Ronaldinho, beckham and hold a big number of freindlies and use silvio's cheque book.

So you see, last year silvio did alot for the club when it counted and right now he is selling our most valued player for the betterment of the club. If pirlo was worth 65 million, he would have sold him instead.

yeah I got it ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Jun 7 2009, 11:04 PM) *
Its alot more difficult than that. Right now its not even about whether or not he likes madrid or not. Its about Milan becoming competitive again. Its about milan rebuilding again.

Silvio is forcing him out the club in order to revive the club or try to revive to club. Someone must be sacrificed because right now we have 60 million euros of debt. Now Silvio will spend another 70 million or approx around that amount. If he doesn't sell Kaka, we will be in 130 million euro debt. That is dangerous for an italian club because our revenue is so poor compared to other clubs that debt is not something we can afford to have like liverpool or manchester.

Furthermore, he spent 8 million on kaka and will see a huge return on his investment. He spent 21 million on Ronaldinho and right now he can't even sell him for half of that. That is why he is keen on keeping Ronaldinho and having him improve next season and selling him after that as he slowly rebuilds our squad with younger players.

I see your point...

Let's see what he says tomorrow. I didn't know that Milan is in so much dept.... I thougth someone posted that it's one of the clubs that don't have any dept.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Yeah I think so. I would be so happy if he doesn't move, but I think its already done. Unless Kaka himself is hellbent on staying at Milan and rejects to even have talks with anyone over it, he'll leave.

he has said it every time there were talks about a transfer, that he wants to stay in milan. and so it is this time... perhabs i'm too optimistic about it but the last thing kaka said was, that he wants to stay at milan and that he won't talk about his future yet.
i hope that we will see the finial dicision tomorrow night, because i really want to know what kaka says now.
i really hope that he'll stay!

I'm really looking forward to Monday, because then there's the official decision.
Hopefully it will be the case, that Kaka is staying! I don't want him to leave and as far as he expressed himself, he wants to stay at Milan. Although he might not be happy that Galliani and Berlusconi want to sell him to Real(if it really is true)....

One point that probably keeps Kaka in Milan is that his family is happy there.
And IMO he won't be forced out just because of money....I mean we don't need that money so desperately do we? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) As far as I know are we one of those clubs who harldy have any depts....

Forza Ricky and please stay!
