The big concern (to me) is that Milan got 60% from the revenue from broadcasting. This simply means tv-rights from the Serie A, CL and Tim Cup. The tv-rights are split evenly since this season. So that means that Brescia gets the same amount as Milan gets. Meaning that Milan will get less from tv-rights in the Serie A.

I forgot to mention: these are the statistics from 2009/2010.

QUOTE (samira @ Jan 27 2011, 08:12 PM) *
By the way, What happen to Ganso and David Luiz?

If we bought him it would be to replace Nesta, who will extent his contract. So there is no use of making that kind of an investment.
And besides, Mexes is close to Milan. His contract expends in june. Roma and Mexes are in negotiation, but it seems they can't find an agreement.

QUOTE (CHU-LIP @ Jan 24 2011, 09:40 PM) *
I agree with ForzaMaldini, except for that I hate Van Bommel. Thing what bothers me is that we now have a lot DM's earning a lot together, but mostly it's really a shame for Strasser. Maybe we should loan him out now. Now we have signed Van Bommel it makes less sense to renew Ambrosini's contract, though I rather want to keep Ambrosini and see Gattuso leave but his contract is not ending. Even though we have very good DM's, Van Bommel is better than all of them which partly has to do with him being a good passer for a DM.

Van Bommel, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Flamini and Strasser. That are 5 DM's, and all are good enough to start games for us. Strasser needs to play to develop, and the other 4 earn like they should be starters. 3 are very old, and Strasser is the young one and really looking like a future starting DM for us. He should get minutes, if not here, then I guess somewhere else for now.

Also my thought at the beginning. If this goes trough we have: Ambro, Rino, Pirlo, Boa, Flamini, Strasser, Merkel, Emanuelson, vBommel and Seedorf on midfield.
This will cost the development of Strasser and Merkel for us. That's the bad news. The good news is that we have a solution for our current midfield problem. Against Cesena we had NO midfielders on the bench and a central defender had to play on midfield.

I disagree with the most of you. Current standard midfield: Gattuso, Ambro, Pirlo. Van Bommel is good at defending and he can acutally also play a good pass and be present in the offence.

I always liked Van Bommel. Not just because he's dutch but he's a really good midfielder. He was (imo) the best player for his national team in the WC and he's very important for Bayern. He is 33 yo but we will sign him for 1.5 years and we will pay a transfer fee of 2 mil max.

If we sign him and someone like Cricito this week I will make a Milan jersey with the name 'Galliani' and #1 on the back.

He has a lot to learn and hopefully he catches up with our level. He's weakness isnt defending but the lack of concentration.

“The only flaw of the evening is the injury to Alessandro Nesta. He'll be out for two or three weeks and in this period it means he'll miss six or seven games.

“However, seeing the results of some of our rivals, it's a great victory.”

these are gallaini comments from footballitalia

In his post-match comment after Cesena he says 4-5 weeks. (check acmilan.com)

Am I the only one who want Coentroa instead? If we sign Cricito for 12 milion we won't pay another 15 for Coentroa in the summer...

Anyway, sumors say that Cagliari want Merkel or Strasser in exchange for Lazzari.

QUOTE
I would like to thank Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani who gambled on me in a moment of difficulty.

“I am pretty sure this will be the last club of my career. I am at the peak.

“I have made many mistakes but I have no regrets. Now it's time for me to change. I want to win and do things right.

“Lots of teams wanted me, but as soon as I knew Milan wanted to sign me, I said to myself: 'Let's go there'.

“Rino Gattuso told me that everything is perfect here. You have everything to do well. If I don't manage to succeed here, I should be locked up in a madhouse.

“I am a second striker, but I am at the service of the Coach. I am open to playing in any role in attack. All I want is to win.

“I would like to once again thank Sampdoria because I was very loved there.”

Constant is not an option anymore because he cannot play for 3 different clubs in a year.
And Allegri admits he wants an extra midfielder in Januari

Cassano isnt yet ready to start imo. He needs to be more fit. Pato and Binho in front with Seedorf behind them. And finally a starting debut of Rodney
