I thought he just got a #7 put into his hair if I'm being honest from looking at it. Could be wrong obviously.

No, I did read about the story Danny mentioned and that he modeled his hair because of it.

As you said before, let's agree to disagree. We work better that way.

Probably :-)

However, it is probably worth mentioning that even boxing did not condone biting (think Mike Tyson)

So apparently the corner that led to Uruguay's goal wasn't a corner cos De Sciglio cleared the ball before crossing the line.

If that isn't pro-Juve I don't know what is!!

Chiellini????

He was absolutely AWFUL in all 3 games he played. Pirlo walked through the entire tournament, Barzagli had his idiotic moments as well. Sirigu, Verratti and Marchisio were the only ones deserving of being in that column

Candreva so so?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

@ x-off, thanks, you just made my bitterness towards that game double now that I know about that bit of info...

One point blank blast and one admittedly fine free kick. He's done nothing to persuade me he's better than Ronaldo or Neymar.

That's 100% pure loser's mentality if people are looking into these things and thinking this is why Italy are out.

Did you watch Chiellini in all 3 games?

He was terrible against England on the left, which I initially excused as he's not really a FB. He was absolutely awful against Costa Rica where he made countless positional errors, some terribly wayward passes out of defence and back to Buffon, one nearly became an assist where he nearly sent the Costa Rica player through on goal with his back pass and another time he let it run under his leg which created another critical situation, he made the mistake on the goal Costa Rica scored as well. And he was bad yesterday against Uruguay as well, once again making passes and positional errors which put his team mates under pressure.

I'm personally a major detractor of both Bonucci and Barzagli, but at least they had much more decent showings than Chiellini

He really said that! What a tool. He should be banned along with Suarez. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Lugano's kids go to the school my mum works at. Apparently he turns up and thinks he's some celebrity and gets angry because nobody knows who he is and doesn't give him any kind of special treatment. The guy is an idiot.

My coupon bust. Uruguay had to win their group for my semis prediction to happen.

It's finished (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Muntari and Boateng sent home. There was a dispute over pay allegations with the board (the president of Ghana had to intervene) and Muntari had a physical tussle with someone from the board connected with the issue.

Boateng sent home for verbal, 'vulgar' abuse directed against the coach.

First Cameroon, now Ghana. Their football associations and the soap opera with the players are a regular source of entertainment.

Yup. And Muntari was actually playing well for Ghana. So this is doubly embarassing. At least he has that publicity stunt he did in the favela.

Boateng, I could care less about. He was always very opportunistic. I remember his 'retirement' from the Ghanian side.

It's strange to hear about Muntari doing this though. He's never had any disciplinary issues that I can recall. I'm a huge naysayer when it comes to him as a football player, but as a person I really can't think of him doing something like this, at least not while he's been in Italy

Boateng, it's expected. In his head he's a star and Ghana were using him as a bench warmer. It was bound to kick off.

Btw, did I hear correctly, has Suarez been banned for 4 months from ALL football? Meaning Liverpool games as well?

If that's true, it serves him right
