Seems official: Borriello is a Roma player.

Some sources say loan, others say permanent move at 15M/euros.

I'd say it is permanent move now that Unicredit has given Roma 13m euros. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Roma are in financial trouble at the moment, I doubt they even had 2m to spare (literally speaking, of course), so with the loan they surely bought him in full. Besides, Bori himself said that he would not prefer a loan.

So we make around 14m from Huntelar and 15m for Bori = not too shabby.

Indeed. I'm guessing Robinho must have cost us about 15m.

Still not convinced the strong egos aren't going to turn around and bite us in the collective tushies but...it'll be interesting to see what comes of this squad.

I don't remember a signing campaign as exciting as this one since 2002... and I was still a n00b back then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That's what I was thinking of. But are Robinho and Ibra going to stand on the balcony above piazza duomo to receive the welcome of thousands of screaming fans like Nesta did?

Indeed. I'm guessing Robinho must have cost us about 15m.

Sources say 10m for Rob. He surely was an accessory there, he did not fit in Mancini's plans. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) The guy is lazy as lobster, but can conjure up magic every now and then. And considering he will be covering both R80 and Pato, I think a pretty good deal.

Also rumor has it that Bori went for a salary of 2.8m euros, which was surprising for me. He will certainly have a lot of competition there too up front with Totti, Vucinic, Menez, drug smuggler Adriano, Baptista and the youngster Okaka. I guess the only logical reason why he went for Roma instead of Juve is because they are in the CL. Anyway, best of luck to all our former (and new players), with the exception of Kala. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Good riddance that.

And guys, we may not agree on the signings, but please do keep in mind that we at least got some new blood in. Which is more than that could have been said an year (or even a month back). Sure better/favorite/alternate players were available for everyone we signed, but that's always the case isn't it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Let's be happy we got new supply of ammo and go out all guns blazing. I'd happily have taken half the market we did, but the ins and outs I saw in the lat week are pure bliss. No one can say the board didn't try.
