I'll start by saying I don't know if this is an appropriate place for this, but its rather interesting (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

CLAMOROUS, AC Milan could play in the Champions League

It might not happen and ppl and clubs may have a problem with it, but OMG if this happens! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) - It will be an early Christmas!!! Some market-related Milan news today:

QUOTE
Saturday 11 October

Gazzetta dello Sport
Nazionale, it’s time to get serious
A win in Bulgaria would pave the way to the World Cup
Lippi gives Pepe his debut
Gilardino preferred to Toni
Under-21: Casiraghi loses Balotelli and De Ceglie
Buffon’s injury is more serious than expected, out two months
Milan ‘sign’ Gullit as a North European talent scout

Corriere dello Sport
Buffon shock
The injury is worse than originally thought
He might be back in December
The goalkeeper misses Real, Zenit, Roma and Inter!
Italy go to Bulgaria, but fear Berbatov
Milan call Sporting: They want Moutinho

Tuttosport
Ranieri-Del Piero, relations remain frosty
They spoke, but the face-to-face discussion is yet to come
Buffon, what a disaster: he risks a three-month lay-off
Mourinho: ‘I could cut my wages’
Milan look to Mexes to fix their defence
Abate: ‘Toro are missing Rosina, not courage’

Hopefully Gullit will do a good job! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Moutinho... he's only 22 and already captain of Sporting. From what I've seen he's a great player but I don't think strengthening our midfield is a priority while a great defender and a great goalie surely is!

Mexes... I'm not a big fan of the French, he has disastrous games at times but he and Nesta would make a great CB pair! I think Roma will have to sell if they fail to qualify for next season's CL (it's still too early to tell though...) but in any case it seems that they are in no position to refuse good offers... (Chivu, Mancini)

I mean he is a *******!...but why should this affect his scouting talent?

Not a fan of Gulit's personality, but I hope he could do us well.

I agree, that Moutinho is a promising lad, but can't seem the urgent need for a midfielder atm either.

A defender would be a wiser choice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Hoping that one would arrive by next season; not holding my breath for one in Jan (though I'm not crossing it off)
Not a Big fan of Mexes either, find him to be inconsistent as well.
But he won't be the worst defender that could arrive (given a nice price) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The 'oh dear?' was for the fact that whether he has scouting talent in the first place? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) That's the question!

Like you said he's a hot headed clown, but I'm not too sure guys like him, Ba, even Seriginho can be really great scouts with an absolute eye for talent like someone, say, Leonardo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Even though they were absolute gem of players (minus Ba, of course). Maybe he'll prove me wrong, so who knows! Let's wait and see.

Yes about Maldini I believe, but even if I am not right about the 'Maldini' part in particular, yes I remember what you are speaking of and it was words directed against Milan!

Then again, I am going on what I heard (through the media) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I wouldn't exchange Gourcuff for anyone. Develop this kid and you have on your hands the next top play-maker in the world.
