According to Mediaset, Niang will be playing on the wing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I'm guessing Allegri imparted the message that he must run his *** off and work extremely hard defensively. I don't think we'll see any laziness tonight.

Bah, what a waste it would be. First, wee need Prince in the midfield, because only then Montolivo excels to another level and we have a relatively flexible/movable formation. Second, if Barcelona will really line a Adriano-Puyol-Alves last line, we need a real prima punta (or at least Niang) to make pressure at them.

The only thing worth saying here is that hopefully this is one of Allegri's unexpected surprises. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) I just hope we see Barcelona self destruct today, sometimes during the second half, after we pressurize them. Whatever and however it is done, few will remember.

I think they'll play Pique, Mascherano and Alba in the back.

Lineups the same as expected. Villa has been crap since coming back from injury every time I've seen him play. hope I'm not jinxing it but I'm glad he's playing.

I'd actually like us to try and match Barca's "false 9" system today.

SES and Niang as a wide 2, to try and keep Alves/Alba honest instead of them being able to push on at will because we're too narrow. Boateng can hassle their CBs and drop in to make a midfield 4 when need be.

Both teams are playing their best XI's IMO, with the exception of us missing Balotelli/Pazzini.

We are going to win the champions league due to Ibra being cursed for life. Thanks Ibra! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yepes, Antonini and Traoré were not selected for the bench.
