Thought it would be good to have a thread about young players that you may have heard of or have gotten hype recently. I think usually they get lumped in the winter/summer transfer thread as 'dream signings' and it clutters it up a bit.

I'll go with a homer pick as my first one. Jordan Graham - Aston Villa/England - 16 years old - Winger

Not featured a whole lot in the U19s next gen series, but he's still only 16 and has impressed at Villa. The bit of skill at the end of the video is really outstanding. Ajax are usually talked up as having a good academy, yet at 16 he really made a complete mess of half of their team there. Seems a bit selfish and always looks to take players on, but so is Ronaldo and that hasn't hurt him!

Jordan Rhodes down at Huddersfield looks Premiership bound. 48 goals in 98 games at the age of 17, incredible record

Also Andros Townsend after watching him tonight for Spurs, looks like a very good left winger. 20 already but wouldn't be surprised if he features more after tonight

Jordan Rhodes down at Huddersfield looks Premiership bound.

Currently..

League: 22 games, 26 goals
Carling Cup: 1 game, 2 goals
FA Cup: 1 game, 5 goals

Total 24 games, 33 goals

Messi wouldn't do that in League 1.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

He's pretty physical, but he's already 21 so it's time to move now. Apparently Huddersfield want about £10m for him though, that's a pretty big risk.

Small clubs should just take the money when they can. They could probably get around £6m or so for him now. But they run the risk of demanding too much and putting teams off which could result in a] him losing form and them never getting a big offer again or b] losing him for a small price/free late in his contract or when it's over.

Welcome to the issues of the Football league.

As long as the Prem clubs are looked after it's cool though.

Jordan Rhodes should stay where he is and bang in the goals. He'll have 1,000+ by the end of his career and be considered #1 alongside Pele.
