QUOTE

Milan: Galliani ammicca a Cassano e chiude a Pato

28.06.2007 13.15 di Francesco Letizia    articolo letto 4657 volte

"Cassano? Mi è sempre piaciuto. A gennaio avevamo fatto delle 'votazioni', perché io sono 'democratico', ma la proposta di ingaggiarlo non era passata. Certo adesso potremmo rifarla questa votazione. Ancelotti? No, non era stato lui a dire no": Adriano Galliani ammicca ad Antonio Cassano in occasione della riunione di Lega Calcio. Chiusura invece verso Alexandre Pato: "Non ci interessa" ha dichiarato l'amministratore delegato rossonero.

Galliani about Cassano:

"I always liked Cassano
"In January we made a pool to bring him here but it didn't go through."
"Ancelotti? It wasn't him who said NO to Cassano.
"But we could do that pool [to bring the player] again."

About Pato:

"We're not interested."

Hey, Galliani!

You said that back in 86 we went for Vialli but ended up signing Van Basten.

Now, as we let R10 and Eto slip, i hope you sign another Van Basten (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And Cassano definitely does not meet the Van Basten criteria!

Signing Cassano would be something like signing Casiraghi or someone like that...

Why do we need that troublemaker? Dam it, haven`t we "broke up" with Real? Cant Galliani just ask Capello for an advice about him?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

We could get him for what? 10-15M/euros max?

He's 25 in July (just like Gilardino). The problem is his behaviour and his "concept of football". I mean, this guy has talent.
But he's a problem-maker in the locker room. Would Maldini, Billy, Gattuso and co change that? I don't know, but I doubt.

If he decides to change... then, along with Gilardino we'd have the italian NT attack for the next 5-7 years.

Cassano and Gilardino - The opposite. In everything.

Cassano... "a kid", italian, problem-maker, talented, a foward, deep-lying forward.
Gilardino... a educated guy, italian, pure finisher.

That would be a scandal!! I'd give no more than E3m for him!!!! He got there for 5m and he hasn't played more than 10 games or something!! It would be ridiculous and unbelievably stupid if we paid that much...

Well... Roma paid almost 30M/euros when he was 19. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I said 10-15... but I don't really how much he's worth now.

So what?? If transfer fees were added up then Anelka would cost E1billion by now... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

All of those transfer fees, and he plays for Bolton. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

By the way, I would love for Cassano to be in Milan, that would be better than Eto'o or Drogba for me. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

He likes Cassano?! OMFG... bring us Makaay or Iaquinta at least!! (I know Iaquinta is Juve-bound) I can't believe it.

Cassano... what a big surprise.

We started with R10 and Eto'o and Henry and Drogba and now we are ending up with Cassano?! unbelievable...

And no particular interest in Pato?!...

It couldn't get any better, Galliani... thank you...

Cassano isn't that bad. After all, he did enter Euro 2004 on his own and it was only a fixed match that stopped him getting to the knockout stages. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Cassano is an amazing talent. I hope all this time on the bench has allowed him to mature... if there's one team that can help him find his former self again that's Milan! I think God and co. can do it...

But that still isn't the 'great forward' we will supposedly be signing in no way! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)
