Just watched Sky Sports' Football's Greatest. This one was on van Basten, a documentary of his career type thing. Really enjoyable, you get to hear from his dad, youth coaches, players who played with at Ajax, etc.
I never knew he nearly signed for Inter, but something to do with an injury and then Italian clubs not being able to sign foreigners meant they had to put it on hold.. then we beat them to him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
