As predicted Yohann is showing his real value now that he's playing!

Carlo, throw away Gilardino and gourcuff, the next one will probably be Pato!

Oh, and Bordeaux will buy him!

Good victory, I also thing the PK was harsh, and the yellow card was totally injustice but guess what ... I don't care!

I just have a question, does anyone know why R10 took the PK and not kaka?

I think every big italian club has something to do with calciopoli, juve were relegated because, for obvious reasons, they were the ones who did the most, but it doesn't mean that Milan, merda or the ss did nothing at all. What the merda did is taking it into a court!

Hi, wow it's been quite a long time since I logged on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Seriously, I don't have internet connection at home anymore and I don't like the cyber cafes so ...

The new website looks good in my opinion, I just hope they included free highlights to dl, that would be really something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I too have a complete faith in Carlo benching Pato and playing with one striker, time will tell us!

Han, it's different now than the post Sheva period! kaka was the news star of the team and had to do some sacrifices, now he's the incontestable star of Milan (before R10's arrival) and with Chelsea's and City's offers he can do what ever he wants, Calro can always come out and say something like "why should I argue with the Ballon d'or winner"!

I'm wondering if there's any particular significance in Tassotti giving that interview yesterday. I don't recall him doing long interviews like that at all. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if it's a hint of management changes to come.

That would be a dream coming true (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

By the way, I think MVB is an over rated coach he played a very offensive football in the last Euro and impressed a lot, but I don't think that kind of football will last an entire season. He lost his last match against Willem 2-1, in the second half he did something you only see in PES, 3 substitutes in 3 minutes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/freak.gif)

I didn't mean you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I meant the people, the media, etc.
But as I said he still has to learn many things. I don't get all this. he's not supposed to be complete in every aspect yet!

Yeah sure, I understand what you meant but to me the work rate isn't something technical, it's more of a personality aspect, Seedorf for example can run but he doesn't want to, and even when he was young he was playing that way. Pato could improve a lot of things but I don't think (I hope I'm wrong) he'll be a hard worker on the pitch!

QUOTE (Tennie @ Sep 7 2008, 11:44 PM) *
Question: does the minutes played : goals ratio really determine how good a player is?

No but it tells you how lethal he is. Someone like Trezeguet has a high goal ratio but it doesn't make him great player!

Not really.

I think it would be more like this

Sheva/Pato/Boriello
R80--Pato/Sheva--Kaka

This way Sheva or Pato could play in the supporting striker roles from the middle, Seedorf was playing there on Sunday, but he kept slowing down play way too much, having someone like Sheva or Pato there would be far more productive.

And then we can play any of the other 3 strikers in the front

I see what you mean but I doubt kaka will accept to change his position on the pitch, remember that game (against Atalanta, I think) when he was asked to play on the right and he didn't want too?!

Leonardo never said Pato is "too lazy" (just the damned media's creation) he just said he has to improve his fighting spirit and I for one agree with that. there's nothing unusual about it as no 19yo has ever been 'prefect'. and I don't see a cause for alarm about Pato's "poor fitness". he just played bad for 20 minutes and the Olympic's form has nothing to do at all with his Milan form. people are too quick to bash...

It's true I'm quick to bash, but in my opinion a 19 yo kid should have more work rate and runs more than a 30 yo man, compare him to Paloschi for example and you see two different players. I agree though that the physical form has nothing to do in here, it's just media bs!
