Thanks, zd. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Much appreciated. I'm currently watching the 'Superman II: Richard Donner's Cut' as I write this. Better mark this one too, as I more often than not love war movies - WWII in particular.

I'm crazy about everything WWII !! games, films, tv series, books, etc. this love for WWII started when I was much younger and I discovered Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Wow! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) If you said the exact same thing about me, it wouldn't be any far from the truth.

I've played every Commandos game, bar the third (they had a fixed resolution of 800 px) and that crap shooter. And enjoyed every movie about that darn war I've watched: Enemy At The Gates, Flags of Our Father, Guns of Navarone, Where Eagles Dare (personal favorite (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) ), Saving Private Ryan, and what not. Don't get me started on games and TV series!

Hehe! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) @ Where Eagles Dare. this one is so nostalgic for me. reminds me of those good old, innocent days (IMG:http://tinypic.info/files/55pw0t2fcxbmbpxuk6q3.gif)

As for games, GTA, Commandos, Call of Duty and Medal of Honor series are the only ones I have always followed and always will.

Yeah, let's go off-topic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

From TV series Secret Army's my favorite. they used to show it when I was around 9 or something. so nostalgic!! (great title theme too!)

BUT, the all-time greatest cinematic work about WWII for me is Band of Brothers! words cannot describe how amazing this mini-series is... what makes it even more great is that it is based on true events. have you watched it?

Have I? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I've watched it more times than I can remember! It's right up there as one of the very best series of all time, and easily in the top two or three for me!

^^

Not surprised about 20 times; it's very addictive. when I first finished watching it I kinda started missing those people! had to immediately start watching it all over again...

Favorite episode? (though they all are great, episode 2 was the one that really got me first time I watched the series)

Out of them all? Probably 'The Breaking Point'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) In second place is 'Day of Days' thanks in no small part to the guns. But then again, too hard to tell between all ten episodes. When I do pop in the DVD, I usually watch all of them together.
