IMO, 2 main reasons were:
Pirlo's terrible form and the injury of Seedorf!

We lost because..

-We weren't hunfry enough/they were hungrier - whichever way you want to see it.
-Pirlo was dreadful, and we missed Seedorf.
-They were simply the better team, and deserved it.

Reasons for our loss:

- Carlo received a tactical lessoning from his counterpart, Wegner.
- Pato is young and inexperienced and it showed with the chances he squandered.
- Seedorf was missing.
- Pirlo chose a hell of a time to be out of form.
- Stupid, stupid substitutions.
- The team did not even mount one attack at the Emirates stadium.
- We funked up our summer and winter transfer windows.
- More than half the team deserved this.

And of course, Arsenal played much better than us over the two legs. The goal wasn't very convincing, both Nesta and Kalac could have gotten a limb to deflect the shot. The other chances Arsenal missed were much more dangerous. There are tons more reasons, but what's done is done. No sense crying over spilled milk.

There are many reasons as sated above which i agree with but all in all it came down to arsenal being the better team.

Pirlo, Gattuso and Ambrosini have played nearly 170 games each in the past 3 seasons... we'd pay the price for not having quality subs eventually... and if Italy do well in the summer, they will have another "tired" season in the next one.

I cant see Ambrosini being favoured over De Rossi, especially when we take into account recent form

Injury or Cassano like behaviour from De Rossi would change that

Good man, good answer. We were not good enough. We lack the youth, skill, and diversity that Arsenal offers. I despise Arsenal with every bone in my body, as I do Inter because I can not respect a team with no players of its native country, but we were simply outclassed.

Lol, that's the only thing I don't like about Arsenal. Something tells me you're not going to get birthday treats from Locke Lamora - he's the friendly, neighborhood Arsenal supporter. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
