Not trying to offend anyone here.....but some people seem to like talking alot about "ripping to shreds", "breaking spines" and "burning them" in regards to our opposition. How about we just talk about winning for now, eh? Confidence is an important ingredient of success. Overconfidence is dangerous.

I'm not trying to have a go at anyone, that's not my point at all as I enjoy everyone's input on this forum, but I think it's important that we stay humble and respectful. A perfect example of that is Kaka, who is always a model of humility and respect in everything he says and does.

One of the reasons why I love Milan is that we are a classy club, and we have a great deal of respect around the world for the way we conduct ourselves. Let's keep it up!

i herd vidic and ferdinand might be back... maybe even neville, i'm sure 1 or 2 of those guys might be available.

That's what I've been hearing also, I would prefer it if only Ferdinand made it and not Vidic, Vidic is just an amzaing defender, Ferdinand makes goofs here and there.

Inzaghi: I'm ready for United

Pippo Inzaghi is polishing his scoring boots for Wednesday’s semi-final against Manchester United, as he seems certain to push Alberto Gilardino on to the bench.

“I feel ready and am in good shape,” said the Milan striker. He is the best Italian scorer in Champions League history with 40 goals in 67 games – 56 in European competition overall – and netted a crucial strike in the 2-0 quarter-final victory at Bayern Munich.

Gilardino was preferred in the lone striker role in the first leg at Old Trafford, but was very disappointing in that 3-2 defeat.

“It is flattering to know that the fans are expecting my goals, but I am convinced that to beat Manchester United we will need a great Milan performance, not just from me.”

With Carlo Ancelotti resting Kaka, using Clarence Seedorf for only 65 minutes and playing Gilardino for the entire 90 in the 1-0 win at Torino on Saturday, it seems likely that he will use Inzaghi supported by those two creative midfielders.

“It is wonderful to feel so much confidence in my abilities, because that really helps. I can guarantee I will give it my all, just as my teammates will. We hope to give our fans and ourselves a performance on a par with our game in Munich.”

The Rossoneri were in trouble during that quarter-final when they were held 2-2 on home turf by Bayern, but qualified by winning the second leg 2-0 in Germany.

Now they are again called upon to overturn a negative situation, but this time Inzaghi points out they have an advantage.

“There are games you cannot wait to play in. It is a Champions League semi-final and we know that we’re facing a tough side, but we are also aware of our own strength. Plus we are playing at San Siro and that is a valuable bonus.”

Ancelotti also hinted that Gennaro Gattuso has recovered from a strain to the sole of his foot, but the only doubt remains in defence.

“At the moment only Paolo Maldini is a concern, but we have another four days to get him fit,” said the Coach.

No, my favorite is the "****" metaphor (i.e., "Milan will **** [team name] on Sunday!") That one I'm not cool with at all.

It's funny, because I just recently realized that if I put people like Maldini and Kaka as my models in life, I would make a lot less mistakes and hence, have a happier, more successful life. Great post. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

We will bulldoze our way through their midfield, then Kaka will **** three of their defenders, then pass it to Inzaghi who will rifle the ball so hard that when it hits the back of the net, it will set the whole goal in flames (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)
