(IMG:http://www.acmilanclub.com/userimages/dida-shout-00.jpg)

Dida is an obvious start.

They said that Rino will be ready in time for the match, so Brocchi definately won't start.

I think Carlo will start Pippo in this game. Simply because now there is no time for second chances. Either we win or we're out, so Carlo won't risk it.

We have 2 away goals. We can win the tie if we win 1-0 at home (3-3 on aggregate) because Manchester United have not bettered or matched our away goals. The only way the match can go into extra time is if the result on Wednesday is 3-2 to us (5-5 on aggregate) this is because Manchester United have matched our away goals, we both have 2 away goals and the aggregate score is level therefore we need to play extra time.

Basically if Manchester United beat us on the night they are through.

If we win 1-0 we are through, 2-1 we are through. 3-2 is extra time (on the night not aggregate)!

Angry Milan Fan Tries To Auction Dida On E-Bay

An angry Rossoneri supporter had enough with Nélson Dida’s CL-compromising fluff at Old Trafford and has tried to strike a blow for frustrated fans everywhere by selling the keeper in an internet auction…

zoom - galleria

The 33 year-old, who joined Milan in 2000, may have been a hero after the prodigal penalty defusing performance against Juventus in the 2003 Champions League final but his popularity has nosedived after a few high-profile gaffes.

Dida had previously caused the Rossoneri faithful to pull clumps of hair out at the roots and grind down teeth in fury soon after arriving.  A stint at Corinthians revitalised the player who returned to claim the number 1 jersey but now seems to be the object of few fans’ desire.

He was slammed in the wake of last week's 3-2 first leg CL semi defeat at Old Trafford, when he tipped a Cristiano Ronaldo header into his own net and then left his near post naked for Wayne Rooney to hammer home the winner.

It would seem, however, that it’s not just the Rossoneri who aren’t exactly head-over-heels with the goalie. Dida, before being removed by embarrassed site overseers, failed to attract much interest on eBay. The price reached a peak of….71 Euros after 25 bids.

Mixed news for Milan pair

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti admits club captain Paolo Maldini is struggling to be fit to face Manchester United FC on Wednesday night although Gennaro Gattuso is expected to be available.

Long-term knee problem
Maldini had to be substituted at half-time in Milan's 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night having suffered a recurrence of a long-term knee problem. "He is slowly improving, but we need to wait until the swelling on his knee goes down," said Ancelotti, who had better news on the midfielder who was substituted early in the second period with a foot injury. "Gattuso is improving and should have no problems for Wednesday."

Inzaghi in contention
The Milan coach also hinted that veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi could replace Alberto Gilardino in attack. "Gilardino has only scored once in the Champions League. There's more pressure in the Champions League compared to the domestic league and Gilardino is not experienced enough to manage it yet. Inzaghi is in good condition and there is a good chance he could play on Wednesday."

Torino test
Milan are away to Torino FC in Serie A tomorrow as they continue their quest to confirm a UEFA Champions League qualifying place for next season. The Rossoneri are fourth, one point behind third-placed S.S. Lazio and six clear of Empoli FC in fifth.

After the eBay incident, I'd better not hear anything about Milanisti being so high and mighty over the Inter fans again.

QUOTE
Kaká plots revenge mission

Kaká's uefa.com diary

I have to admit we left Old Trafford a little bit disappointed on Tuesday night but not with our heads down at all. I only say that we were sad because of the late goal we conceded. It's frustrating to have let in another late goal, just like we did against [FC] Bayern München in the last round. I don't want to take anything away from the quality of Manchester United [FC]'s play, and [Wayne] Rooney's goal though. It was an incredibly good finish from Rooney. In no way would I rest any blame on Dida for failing to stop it because the timing of the shot was absolutely perfect.

'Great chance'

If the match had finished 2-2 I still feel we would have a mountain to climb although those away goals are very important. But losing the first leg is not the end of the world by any means and I believe we stand a great chance of turning the tie around at the San Siro next week. The game at Old Trafford was a real spectacle and I'm convinced the second leg will be another amazing game – perhaps even more amazing than the first match. It was a wonderful show for the fans and it could be another one on Wednesday. I was hugely impressed by the atmosphere inside Old Trafford. Even at half-time when they were losing 2-1, the United fans were still singing and getting behind their team. I'm sure our fans will show the same kind of spirit as United fans displayed. We haven't enjoyed a great season but the fans have been brilliant and have been by our side throughout the season.

'Maldini legend'

I was really happy to score twice in the first leg and to have scored so many goals in the competition this season, but it is winning the Champions League that means the most to me. I have come close to winning it before two years ago and would love to do it this season. Despite trailing United at this stage I still think we have a great shout at winning the cup this season. I've been asked this week what I think of my team-mate Paolo Maldini. The answer is simple, he is a legend. Anyone who says he is too old is talking rubbish. It's obvious that he doesn't perhaps have the same speed or the same physical prowess that he had earlier in his career but his experience and leadership more than compensate for that. You could see for yourself how much we missed him in the second half at Old Trafford. Maldini is an inspiration.

'Amazing Ronaldo'
I've also been asked what I thought of Leo Messi's brilliant goal for Barcelona last week and whether I was jealous! The answer is no, of course not, it was a great goal. It's even been compared to my goal against Argentina in London but all I will say is that they were two great goals, scored by two different players, with different characteristics. It's good for football to see wonderful goals like Messi's. It's not a competition between us. I think Leo Messi along with and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two best players in the world this season. I really appreciate the skills of Ronaldo. He plays like a Brazilian. He has so much skill and speed. He is an amazing footballer. Do I feel as if I am battling with Messi and Ronaldo to be in the top three? No of course not. I don't feel it's a competition at all. Football needs players to play great football and if we are all doing our jobs properly, it has to be good for the game.
