QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Oct 11 2006, 06:32 PM) WIth the replay, it seemed like the ball bounced right in front of his feet .. Maybe there was a ditch in is 6-yards .. Yep there was, it was made by the Croatian keeper so he could kick the ball further!, I bet he will be using that tactic in every match from now on! QUOTE (mishale @ Oct 11 2006, 06:47 PM) He has choose the wrong tactic for this game. He should have played 4-4-2 Everyone's saying this but we bashed Sven for never changing tactics, somebody does if it payed off no one would be blaming the formation! I personally think we don't have the team we are not a big international team that is a fact, compared to others, we are overhyped that's all...

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Oct 12 2006, 05:22 PM) Yea they are .. In fact before any major tournament, their players get so much from the media, even the Brazilians dont get that much attention as the English. I think the England team has amazing individuals from attack to MDfield, but they'r defence is not that solid .. The MAJOR problem is they dont have a GK .. I think that's their problem I guess the biggest problem for the English is that they're not a team. They have so many great football players, and everyone wants to play a major part in the team. No one wants to do the dirty work. Great teams need that kinda players. And about the GK, I agree, England doesn't have any solid GK, and a bad coach...

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Oct 12 2006, 04:37 PM) Actually the English media is that way about any sport...take Tim Henman for instance...(IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) To be honest no self respecting individual for the last 4/5 years believed Henman could win Wimbledon! Just the media!

I think that's their problem First of all they don't look like a team and secondly they never seem so passionate. Another problem is that all of them (besides Hargreaves and former national Beckham) are playing in the UK so they don't have any experience of anything not English (football-wise) !! When Crouch is your best player there has to be a problem ... He wouldn't even win me even if we played like forever !!

QUOTE (dst @ Oct 12 2006, 08:03 PM) Haha, get off that's taking it to far! Just because he scores, does not mean he is our best player! I think we are missing Owen a bit as well - a proper goalscorer.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Oct 13 2006, 03:16 AM) Your team has no problem from the MDfielders to the strikers, the problem starts with the Gkeeping options ( there are no options, not in a long time .. ) .. Well in my opinion, Robinson has done alrite for us, I mean yes what happened to him on Wednesday was unfortunate, but I think things like that happen to a lot. Ironically, he was voted man of the match I heard, saying something isn't it!
