So can we take stock of what's happened in the last 48 hours or so?
So we've signed Bonucci for 40m + 2m bonuses and Biglia for 17m + 3m bonuses
We've also sent Berto on loan to Genoa (dry loan but they will pick up all his wages), Lapadula is heading to Genoa with Berto for a 2m paid loan with obligation to buy next summer for 11m and we've also sent Felicioli on loan for 2 seasons at Hellas Verona. I don't know if I'm missing anything, but I'm expecting more exits in the coming 2 weeks (not expecting a lot of business to be done while we're in China)
Honestly, all the we need atm is the top class CF we've been trailing all summer and a couple of good rotation players and we're basically set. I actually can't remember the last time - if ever - we concluded our business so early in the summer. When we start the Serie A season the new squad will have had a full pre-season to train with each other plus 2 competitive games under their belts
Even if we leave Auba/Belotti for the last minute it's still a big win for us

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 14 2017, 02:13 PM) Man, I'm so excited for the new season! Can't wait. This... +1 QUOTE (han2503 @ Jul 14 2017, 02:24 PM) So can we take stock of what's happened in the last 48 hours or so?

Even if we leave Auba/Belotti for the last minute it's still a big win for us So true... It's fantastic that we have an almost complete side to go through the entire preseason together. And considering the number of new faces that will be paired up together, it would give us maximum time to work together and learn each other, to build chemistry etc. I'm already completely pleased. All we need now is to get rid of the dead weight. Any additional signings (that I also have a feeling is going to happen) would just be a Huge BONUS.

I'm already completely pleased. All we need now is to get rid of the dead weight. Any additional signings (that I also have a feeling is going to happen) would just be a Huge BONUS. We've already done a decent enough job at clearing house, we've sold Vido, Kucka, Lapadula, loaned Bertolacci and are on the verge of selling Vangioni and Paletta. Now we need to concentrate on Niang, Bacca, De Sciglio and maybe Sosa as well. That would basically leave us with just starters from last season being rotation players. Meaning Monto, Abate, Zapata, Gomez, Calabria, Antonelli and Locatelli being backups, which considering that we heavily relied on these guys last season, it says a lot in terms of how far we've come this summer I really want to see Bacca, De Sciglio and Niang go next, because they're the most problematic but they're also the 3 that can really get us a good chunk of cash (considering all that we've spent). The others like Paletta, Vangioni and Sosa won't really bring in much if anything at all (max 10m and that's being optimistic)

Juventus confirm Milan will pay €42m for Bonucci, to be paid in three installments #ForzaMilan
Even better news. He won't be a huge burden on this summer's budget, we're basically only paying 14m for him this summer

Milan have offered Bayern €7m for a 2-year loan, with a €40m buyout option for Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches [@Record_Portugal] (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Someone hold me

Just look at this. We've basically hit all our targets and it's mid-July. With only the CF still to go I think the squad will be 95% complete (pending some sales and a squad player or 2) by the end of this month

I think Renato Sanches is nothing but hype. Bayern payed real money for him, and if Carletto says he's for sale just one season after his big signing with them, he's the new Gourcuff. Please pass.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jul 14 2017, 08:06 PM) Bonaventura for sure. Oh, and no. I don't think Bonaventura has it to be the leader of the team. Bonucci is ideal.

Let's all take a moment to bask in the fact that while last season we started games with Abate--Paletta--Roma/Zapata--DS/Vangioni Next season we'll have Conti--Musacchio--Bonucci--Romagnoli--Rodriguez Personally I think we'll go with 2 formation variations next season Either a 3-5-2/3-4-2-1 Musacchio--Bonucci--Romagnoli Conti--Kessie--Biglia--Rodriguez Suso/Silva--Bona/Hakan New ST Or a 4-2-3-1/4-3-2-1 (I don't think 4-3-3 is even viable anymore since our only real winger is Suso) Conti--Bonucci--Romagnoli--Rodriguez Kessie--Biglia Suso--Silva/Hakan--Bona New ST Both are great, and if we get a top CF upfront, I really think we'll be shoe ins for top 3

I really like him, maybe I'm blinded by his 2 performances in the Euros though, can't claim to really follow Bayern much aside from the CL. Personally I'd rather we spend that kind of money on Kovacic if we really have it, but I'd still be happy with Sanches
