Well well it seems Falcao is heading to Madrid.
Madrid remind me of the galacticos v1, where they just give Makalele to Chelsea, as if he was fodder. The same is repeating itself with Di Maria and now Alonso! Skeptical on how Carlo can do without them.
IN other news, Torres is our player for the next two years, trust Inzaghi to get the best out of him, but skeptical in that sponsors give the club a quota to fill the first team with X amount of world class players. I don't consider Torres to be wc, but sponsors look at the marketing side.
Don't think it is fair to judge on the youth products we have, progress has been done since 2008 to upgrade wholly the process of procuring and training potential players. Six years, summer of 2014 and you expect results? What if what if and what if, or maybe Galliani is at it again. But I know this, having players like Paloschi playing in top flight leagues, gives our youth academy a thumbs up. We could have used him, and Carlo was the only one who did, but since then non of our coaches gave him a chance. The youtube clips we use for reference are of the finest moments, but what of the rest of the matches? I never really watched him, and tbh if he was any good we would have his name in golden letters already.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 31 2014, 12:54 PM) Reports in England today saying De Jong will sign for Man Utd. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Van Gaal /Manchester United seems desperate. Didn't he have a 100 million budget? How much have they spent now? Di Maria, Herrera, Shaw, Blind, Rojo... at least you can safely say if United keeps disappointed it's Van Gaal's doing, while the squad will look quite decent this season.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 31 2014, 10:54 AM) Reports in England today saying De Jong will sign for Man Utd. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Only one English source so far. Nothing in Italy as far as I can see With regards to de Jong, I'm on the fence, I don't think he'll fit in well into Pippo's 4-3-3, I think we need far more dynamic mids than an anchor like De Jong. However with that being said, he's our best midfielder and one of the very few quality player we have, selling him for the reported 10m pounds being mentioned would be a gaffe of epic proportions, just like selling Balo for just 16m was ridiculous when Liverpool and Man U are throwing money around for much lesser quality players. If we're really going to sell him, we must play hardball, they're desperate right now so just give them a high figure like 20m pounds and don't budge, I think they'll break and give us what we want. That's nearly 25m euros, which should give us enough to sign at least one quality CM (don't know where he's coming from though at this point in the window) and Dzemaili, with a profit still being made

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 31 2014, 12:11 PM) No, I don't think we should even consider selling him. Don't forget today is the last day of the mercato, we won't have time to sign an adequate replacement. Plus De Jong is great player, there's no need to sell him at all. I read that we have until tomorrow at 11:00 PM, that's when the window closes because it has been extended this year. And yeah, that's why I'm hesitant, no way there's enough time to replace him plus buy the midfielder we'd still need, not to mention I can't see an available midfielder with the qualities we need atm

QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Aug 31 2014, 04:07 PM) Dzemaili is heading to Galatasry together with Pandev reportedly. Yeah saw that, too bad, could have really used him as an all rounder in our midfield instead of Muntari Looks like Van Ginkel is done, don't know how to feel about that considering he was basically shoved out the door by Mourinho after rejecting us twice.
