I'd welcome Sobis and Oliveria, but I can only see one of them arriving.

Well, we had Dida, Cafu, Serghino, Kakà and Amoroso last year and did great.

Amoroso doesn't count... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Hmm, I'm afraid you're right. Maybe we just had the "right" Brazilians that did manage to settle down in Milan a little bit better...

QUOTE (Captain Ambro @ Aug 25 2006, 10:45 PM)
I like that squad, though I think we shouldn't have that many defenders. If we sign Oddo, someone has to leave and I'd say Simic is the one closest in mind.
Man, I really can't ever understand why Milan signed Favalli. That must've been the most stupid signed in years. We're well covered in left back and he's 35 years old...why??? All we did was doing Inter a great deed... I mean, it's not like we're lacking experience in defense (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
*

Considering that that defense will be considerably thinned out by the end of this season then I don't think we have to worry about having too much defenders.

Don't forget next season Billy, Paolo, Cafu', Serginho and Favalli will all be gone. This is what really worries me though, Next year our defense will need a total over haul, with all these players gone. And I agree if we get Oddo we won't have any need for Simic, but he can be a good CB sometimes, that's why I think we should keep him, but if with some miracle we get Gallas, then yeas Simic should be shown the door

That is the difference we had the RIGHT Brazilians, Real didn't, all the Brazilians we have on our team are good people, with the right attitude and every one gets along great.

EDIT: Oh, sorry... Thought we were talking about Oliveira here. I'm getting confused with all these topics... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Not to mention Sergio has been with us since 1999, so he has a great feeling with the squad and the board. Also Ricky, Cafu and Dida are wonderful persons. On the other hand, people like Robinho and Ronaldo are nothing more but troublemakres.

What the word SUSPEND stands for? http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=suspended&x=0&y=0

They say that he'll probably come to Europe on the next days, but the transfer was cancelled/suspended...

I believe he'll come. Don't know if it's for Milan...

I really hope that it's to Milan, I think our management got a bit blind sided about the whole Ronaldo thing they should definately go after him, our front line is still not enough.

That´s enough reason to cover the forward line with fresh blood in this mercato season. Because the next one, we will need defenders.

Well for starters he has passed the qualifying age to play for Milan; which is 30's .. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Secondly, I believe he is a short-term replacment for Maldini; you know incase Maldini gets injured again. With saying that, I believe Maldini will be playing a big part this season, seeing as it is his last.

Thirdly, we are on a go with signing Inter rejects .. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) sad (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

To add to what has already been said above, I believe Favalli came on a free transfer, we nevre gave Inter anything!

It says that Betis is interested in him, that's why the deal with Racing blew up. He recieved a better offer from Betis.

I heard on Milan Channel that Maldini is back on form and that if he was subscribed in the list of the preliminary round, he might have even played against Red Star in the second match.
