Pato really makes me worry. I don't know, if this season ends up being like the last one, I really don't see any option in the near future.

Let's hope this one injury was just an "accident".

Except for Boateng, all the rest are muscle injuries. This worries me. This worries me a lot. It can't just be the medical staff.

Perhaps we need some new fitness regimes for the players or Max needs to change his coaching style. Or , our new 'younger' squad is just not as focussed on training their bodies the way our veterans were. And I'm basing this purely on Rino's observation that the youngsters would often saunter into training just before time, instead of showing any serious dedication.

Rino never specifically indicated any group of players (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I really think it's a combination of all the factors. Pitch conditions, training facilities, training routines, medical and fitness personell, etc.

It was ok when it was just Pato, and we could blame this on him just being made out of glass, but to have 4 other players who pull up during games (just like Pato) is not a good sign.

Abate pulled up against Juve, Robs against Samp and Monto last Saturday. Something's just not right at Milanello, and this simply cannot be blamed on luck.

Pato was ok for weeks with Brazil, aside from a minor knock (not muscle related) a few days back in Milan and boom, 4 weeks out. It's simply not a coincedence. We should hire spies and send them to Juve's training facilities, because they never get injured over there

I don't know man. Something is wrong with the training. I wish it was as simple as saying they're not warming up properly.

Back in school, that's how you pulled/tore something. Coz you hadn't done your stretching and warming up properly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Perhaps the pre-season conditioning is not good enough. I don't know. What I do know is we had a bunch of much older people training with Carlo, and you can say what you like about the team quality, but we didn't have injuries stretching into months. It's not all the medical department. And an entire world class medical facility does not collapse in 3 years time.

Maybe Milan Lab is sucking at bringing players back from injury, but you have to wonder what puts them in the injured state in the first place. That's the training and physical conditioning.

True. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) So very true. I year for the day when we'll have more than 90% of our players fit and available!

Wow $hitlegri (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

My money's on him making the players do keep ups with rocks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Would make sense since Pato is supposed to have the hardest shot in our team

It's unbelievable that after all that happened last season, we still haven't fixed the problem.
