QUOTE (Portikins @ May 24 2009, 06:49 PM) (IMG: http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/2766/semttuloedb.jpg) The last thing, the DIFF thing is the GOAL DIFFERENCE. That's what matters in Italy. Therefore the 3rd place is safe, though is exactly the same to end 3rd or 4th. You gotta play the 3rd pre of the CL. We have to win in Florence. Or at least get the same result of Juve against Lazio to be automatically in CL group stage. i am really angry about everything today, players, coach and the most REfrees , i remembered Chelsea - Barcelona BUT i am really happy about CL

QUOTE (han2503 @ May 24 2009, 06:49 PM) How can you say it was just the ref's fault and Roma's persistance??
We had just as much to play for as Roma had. Not only that we were giving our legendary captain a send off, and yet you're saying the players still can't find it in them to put in a decent performance??
Carlo made terrible decisions today. Why was Zambro dropped in favour of Janku?? That was the most ridiculous decisions I've seen him make in weeks. Pippo was terrible, yet he still stayed on and Pato was pulled out when he was our best player in the first half. I'm sorry but how can you defend these decisions???
Kaka, again had a terrible game yet he doesn't dare to take him off, yes at the end he finally started to play well, but no one could have predicted that. He chould have come off at half time, simple as that 100% agreed. but let's not criticize Carlo because he's now the Chelsea coach! What's done is done...

QUOTE Yes the defensive wall was terrible in both free-kicks but aren't these things supposed to be practiced in training. Our defence has been cr@p for years now, and Carlo still hasn't adressed this problem. Shouldn't a coach be able to organize the defence, even if it isn't the best around? I don't know. There are Maldini, Favalli, Costacurta + the coaching staff with Tassotti; so many defensive specialists and oldies. I don't think it's up to the organization. I'm sure Mauro Tassotti is a very good defensive organizer.

QUOTE (Portikins @ May 24 2009, 04:27 PM) No need. So, Porty, who's your favorite to take over?

QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ May 24 2009, 05:24 PM) according to wikipedia Since 2005–06, if two or more teams end the season with the same number of points, the ordering is determined by their head-to-head records. In case two or more teams have same total points and same head-to-head records, goal difference becomes the secondary deciding factor.
and on skysport live table milan is third despite having a better goal difference than juve I saw that too, so we're 3rd now? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Look, 2nd and 3rd go straight to CL group phase. Meaning this discussion is quite irrelevant. Only thing we HAVE to do is win FOR MALDINI.
