Marseille - Bordeaux G. 1:0 - Marseille overall better, if considered that both Niang and Ben Arfa are out - Gourcuff not bad at the beginning; marked very well by M'Bami and Taiwo; his biggest problem is his speed - compared to a not so fast M'Bami; average match - Mandanda with a very good performance Bordeaux finally beaten. |

Oh, and good to see you keeping an eye out for Gourcuff performances, Sim. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I don't think his place is in the French league, though, he'll move to some bigger club when the time is right. Establish himself for a couple of years, and then go big.

As far as I'm concerned, Gourcuff will wether move back to Milan or stay in France, Bordeaux, or even Lyon or Marseille.
Don't know what Chamakh had in mind but he scored a brilliant header. |

The only young player who got a fair run under Carlo was Gilardino - in the wrong system for a player of his type, but still a fair run. |

Gourcuff was very good at stealing the ball from the opponent. but if want a defensive/attacking midfielder, Gourcuff's not the one! Fabregas is.
