ahh i wanted to ask that recently we have had gud young defender like darmain stiker like paloschi even some midfielders david de gennaro but is there anyone who can be considered as milan keeper in coming years we need to get a keeper from the youth team bcoz on the market world class keepers are not for sale or either too expnsive while getting second graded keeper is no use so do we have a keeper in the youth team who can be considered the future like darmain or paloschi

Um, we have signed up a 20-year-old keeper from Brazil earlier this transfer season. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) He'll be staying on loan at his previous club to gain more experience, and will be unveiled next year. From what I hear, he's decently talented too.

Milan sign nine-year-old
Thursday 25 September, 2008
Milan have signed a nine-year-old Mexican boy, who has already been compared to Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero and Diego Maradona.

In a piece of forward planning, the Rossoneri have pounced to secure the services of Edgardo Obregon.

The tiny trequartista had been learning the ropes at Guadalajara outfit Chivas where he has been nicknamed 'The Cat.'

Obregon impressed at the recent Milan Friendly youth tournament and was reportedly also approached by Barcelona.

“He's the heir to Messi, Aguero and Maradona,” Spanish newspaper Marca claimed.

Many of Europe's top clubs are recruiting players at a young age as the race to find the superstars of tomorrow becomes ever more competitive.

Of course, it wasn't official. It was kept under wraps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) But we'll know for sure in an year or two, yeah!

Good Lord! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) A 9-year-old. What's next, we'll sign babies before they're born? Most hype I've ever seen from a youngster, Pato and Messi included. I do hope he turns up well, even though I'm not too fond of Mexicans either. But still, 9 years of age! Oh well, strangers things have happened!

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Our very own 'Generation Next', and who knows it may include the son of Ronaldo too.

hehe im guessing leonardo is finally having an affect on our club.

I know you want to take a swipe at Galliani bro...but the thing is Galliani already gave that interview, I think 2 seasons back when he was saying that Milan are looking at being more like Arsenal than Real Madrid.

- I think it makes sense, because it is the only truly sustainable business plan. The trouble with the transfer season we had is, we're gonna require seasons like this every 3-4 years to maintain quality

- We realised, we have to be like Arsenal. Everybody cribs about Arsenal stealing youth. But in the long run it makes sense.

And if we got him at 9, we won't be having trouble with non-EU quota if he does develop to be good enough to play for us.

Baby Maldini update: young Christian's team (the Giovanissimi Regionali C) are so far undefeated in their games this season; they've only conceded one goal so far.

Well duhh...this kid was good enough to take the ball of Seedorf remember? One of the most technically accomplished players on the planet.

Actually, that was kid brother Daniel who dispossessed Seedorf with a classic Maldini slide tackle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Daniel's 7 now, I think. Next year he can start with the youngest of the Milan youth teams.

Exactly. It was Maldini Jr. 2! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) And I'd half expect it was Seedorf's daughter in the video too. That is if I remember correctly, and Seedorf does in fact have a young daughter. But it was Daniel that's for sure who stole the show in that clip.
