Theres a lot more issues at hand than comparing city to chelsea. Chelsea is in london , a bigger city with the capacity and ability to handle two huge teams and two regular teams. Manchester is different. Man u is undoubtely the world's biggest club right now and has the most fans, most sold tickets and argubaly one of the biggest budgets. This arab guy by coming into city and doing the Abra thing is going to cause havoc in manchester. I dont think city will experience the same level of benefits as chelsea did when the new owners came partly because of location and rivalry.

london has a million different clubs, while manchester which englands 3rd largest city has only two popular clubs. demography isnt going to play such a huge role, right now most players want the EPL even though englands weather is shit2. actually manchester and milan both have practically the same population, yet milan has AC and inter.

I was talking the big clubs in regards to london. And milan and manchester are much different because in milan there is only one stadium where the rivalry is huge but respect is kept in the way that both clubs get their share of worldclass talent. To many football player choosing inter and Ac milan isn't a staggering decision like it is to hardcore fans and italian fans.

In manchester it has always been MANU, and they always have to get the best etc etc... and now because of this arab guy things will get heated up. First robinho and now he's talking of signing ronaldo. The level of respect and acknowledgement isn't kept in that statement by the good doctor. Like we will never say we are going after Ibra he shouldn't be saying we are going after ronaldo.

Time will only tell whether or not manchester can handle a billionare arab.

I hope he stays at Juve. In a weird way, I'd be disappointed if he moved to Milan.

Me too, it's just not right. It's like them taking away our Nesta. The fans would probably feel guilty.

Guys, I hear Milan and Fiorentina have organized a charity match for Borgonovo... who has motor neorone disease... a disease that limits motor functions and I believe is eventually fatal...

Ditto. And inter were the kings of San Siro, not Milan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Damn, I hate the 50s!

dude your making pure assumptions here.as was mentioned by others for a long time they were considred the bigger club. even till this day, a huge amount of people in the city of manchester support citeh, it's about 50/50 witha slight edge to united. they have great support, one of the best attendance records in the prem, i believe it was the 3rd or 4th best.

[zebra alert] Good news for Juve. Giorgio Chiellini is apparently pretty much recovered from his injury. While he may not start for the Zebras against Udinese, he may well make the bench. He's almost certainly going to play the CL game midweek. [/zebra alert]
