QUOTE (mishale @ Mar 9 2008, 07:07 PM)
Boban was loaned to Bari. I agree about Yoann, I have been saying for a long time that it would be better for him to be loaned to another Italian team.  About Gila, I just wish not to see him in Milan shirt after this season again.

Here are Datasport's player ratings:

Kalac 6
Bonera 6.5
Kaladze 6
Maldini 6
Favalli 5.5
Oddo 6
Brocchi 6
Kaka` 7.5
Gourcuff 6
Pirlo 6.5
Ambrosini 8
Gilardino 4
Pato 7.5
Paloschi s.v.

They rarely give ratings of 4. Seems like everyone agrees that Gila really sucked.

Yes, Boban went to Bari. But this guy is hardly Boban.

Gourcuff lacks of stability and he's not reliant. In one match he pulls up some brilliant passes and some really horrible. But 80% of his passes could be made with ease. But he usually seems to take the harder way.

Now, the normal Milan, 3-4 years ago, would pick a that youngster, shelter him and provide confidence. The '08 Milan is not up to that. I say - give Gourcuff as many chances as possible till end of season. If he leaves then, it will be his problem. To be frank, neither Milan nor Gourcuff demonstrated many good games.

I seriously cannot believe that Goal.com and datasport gave Oddo 6's! I must have obviously been watching a different Oddo to them! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Apparently it's Mercurial Vapor, only in red. in this photo you can see it in both colors. personally I like the red one more.

E points, lucky result bla bla I agree with that... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Bad game from Milan. I don't get it, why don't we give them a bit more space and try to take advantage of Kaka's and Pato's amazing speed on the counter-attack? We simply cannot break down 8-men defensive walls so there's nothing else to do other than make them break it down themselves and hit them when they do... I know our game is based on posession but at times it would not be bad to try something different... we're so stuck tactics-wise...

QUOTE (fresh_prince7 @ Mar 9 2008, 05:52 PM)
Kaka' and pato on those last two counters were way too indecisive. Got lucky with the pato one. Pato was very selfish tonight at times.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Until the end of Serie A:

Roma (A), Sampdoria (H), Torino (A), Atalanta (H), Cagliari (H), Juventus (A), Reggina (H), Livorno (A), Inter (H), Napoli (A), Udinese (H).

Very tough schedule in my view.

QUOTE (whoarethepatriots @ Mar 9 2008, 07:52 PM)
Loan Gila to Genoa or Sampdoria and Gourcuff to Empoli, Parma or Udinese

Boban (i think) went on loan to a lower club (cant remember name), got his confidence back and the rest is history
*

I don't think loaning Gila out would be a good idea. We should either sell him or keep him. Fiorentina seems like the best place for Gourcuff.

Boban never lost his confidence. He was loand to Bari before he ever played for Milan cause there was no space for him in the squad.

QUOTE (redbabies @ Mar 9 2008, 07:59 PM)
Pirlo and Oddo - both were awful, they need to rise their game or... or nothing coz they will still play, and thats sad we dont have anyone to sub them (especially Pirlo) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
*

I don't agree with that. I think Pirlo was very good yesterday especially considering the way he played against Arsenal. That's my opinion anyways...

Also, something I had not noticed before, Andrea is VERY fast without the ball!

Well yeah...coz with the ball, that supercomputer in his head, has to start churning out inane calculations relating to windspeed, angle of projection, trajectory, air friction, surface friction, kaka's estimated velocity, seedorf estimated un-velocity, proximity to opposing team defenders (in metres), how much time it would take for rino to come back from right mid-field to cover Andy's back(in seconds)...all in all it's a very complex equation...

^^^

There's ur thesis topic right there Pana.
