Just great. This era is over.

Very aptly put. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I don't want to stir things up, but...damn we deserved this.
We played an absolutely flawless game, and Milan were never even close.

Credit to Maldini for urging his team on despite being 1 goal down with 6 minutes to play though.

i hope this will make berlusconi and galliani think about the team, not every year we can expect that will apear a super kaka (las season), or pato (this one) so, i hope at least one world class forward (drogba, sheva, i don´t know... someone) and 3 defenders, FUCKING kaladze, theo walcott made him look like a serie B defender (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif)

anyways i'm not mad one bit, i saw this coming miles away, actually during summer when people were content with emerson and an 17 year old who wasnt able to play yet. yet we were favorites for the league and the CL (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Oh my god (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Maldini (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) his dream of reaching Moscow... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) it's all over now? I can't believe. he should've retired in Athens... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) with the cup in his hands... sorry God, but there's a limit to everything, even ambition.
*

I don't get senitimenal about this. It's what Paolo wanted and it makes him an even bigger player. He could have had the best show possible for his retirement last year. But this guy just wanted to play some more football while he knew another CL win was not too likely with this squad.

Btw...still don't want Mr. Mourinho in Milan. I might be the only left to defend Carletto but no other coach would have done much better than he did. Like Porty said, this era is over, this team is burned out. It seems that they don't have do give anything more.

In other news...wow. Sevilla and Fenerbahce have gone to extra time. It's 5-5 (total from both games).

HAAHAH go hide urselves, what a disgrace this team is. poor maldini, ends a great career with these bums.
*

Hold it,..I've seen worse Milan displays in my life.

This match was NOT a deserved win by Arsenal, it was a perfect tie. Both teams had their strong moments, and towards the end period we did take off and probably would have scored. Fabregases shot was a lucky goal and a bad reflex by Kalac. 100% his fault.

YES!!
We got eliminated!

NOW:
-get us the 4th position in SA
-get rid of Gilardino, bring a new RB and GK
-bring fresh midfielders
-a new big-name striker and CB

All those transfers in one period? Hell yes, we waited for that. Now, it's coming.
And of course, Ancelotti stays. If not,..Lippi is the man.

Well, on the bright side of things, I finished two reports at work that I probably would've dragged my heels on.

Lucky for you. I still have to wrap up two projects that I'm working on. On the flip side, however, I don't feel too sad, so as to drag them on any longer. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm not sure the era is over! I mean if it's Galliani... you know the old story...

But seriously we needed to get eliminated. think about it for a moment...

I expect Carlo to step down at the end of the season like a good boy. or I'm gonna go over to Milan and choke him with my own hands (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I think Arsenal really deserved to win. We didn't have any good chances IMO. Fabregas shot? I agree, it was good bu Kalac....he was that fast it looked like a slow motion. Of course I agree with everything starting with.

it's not the individual performance. it's their attitude really, i dint see any motivation all year long. FFS, maldini was the most motivated player on the team!

the only ones who showed up for this was kaka and maldini. our whole season is supposedly about winning this trophy, well they dint show that at all.

oh ya and theres also the fact that they've been shite all year, maybe 2 or 3 good performances.

oh and flilipo, arsenal hit the cross bar, denied a perfectly good free kick on the edge of the area, the senderos sitter along with a handful of good half chances and all the space their midfield was given. milan was asking for it and they paid for it with the fabregas goal.

and guess what arsenal scored 2 goals, milan never looked like scoring.

arsenal managed the ball perfectly, milan struggled to get the ball to the halfway line. deserved win.

-Out of Coppa (Catania)
-Out of Champions League (Arsenal)
-5th place with 26 matches played in Serie A, 18 points behind the leader and 5 points less than last year

Our squad is poor.
But the problem is that Ancelotti can't motivate the team anymore. He can't.

We need a revolution: new players and new staff in. New blood in.

Berlusconi looked really pissed off the end of the match. It's good. Because now we know this era is over and Mourinho will be our coach by June. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
