QUOTE (Porty @ Aug 30 2007, 08:37 PM)
Anybody knows the days of the matches?

Fvck me. Milan, Liverpool, Roma and Manchester United coming to Portugal until December. That's amazing. I'll be in some matches for sure.

Donati will be 'back' with Celtic, not that he was really ever here. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

i think we got a good draw...it's not the easiest group, but we are a much better team now than when we started last season. especially the celtic series...i don't think you can compare the beginning of this season with the beginning of last season...we had just lost sheva, gone through a scandal, and most of our players had no rest. we're ready this year and i see us easily taking the top of our group.

I'm gonna try and make it up to Celtic Park when Milan go to Scotland. Ryanair are doing 2p flights to Glasgow at the moment!

Good to see two of the first three games at home. A good start is always the key.

The game in Glasgow is just a week after my birthday, I'll try and persuade my dad to get me a ticket as a present or something! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Holders Milan face former champions at uefa.com

Champions League starts again! Oh, how much I adore those CL nights... there's nothing better than eating your pizza and drinking your beer(s) watching your team on those starry nights! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And... Grande Rui will be back at the San Siro!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

European Club Goalkeeper of the Year:
Last years winner: Jens Lehmann

Nominees:
Petr Cech (Chelsea)
Dida (Milan)
Jose Reina (Liverpool)

Winner: Petr Cech (Chelsea)

Utter crap. Chelsea did jack again in the CL and Cech was out for nearly half of the season due to injury. What the hell was UEFA's crackpot criteria for the award, anyway? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

He dis played all the important games for Chelsea in the CL (after group stage). Chelsea was eliminated only on penalties in the semi final (so it's not like they were eliminated early). And if you judge footballing skills, Cech is clearly better (for me anyway).
